It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05" and American DOT certification, which ensure that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months.
