Branched-chain amino acid supplement BCAA Xpress by Scitec Nutrition. The amino acids Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine, known as branched-chain amino acids or BCAA (Branched-Chain Amino Acids), contribute to the development, maintenance, and repair of muscles. They are absorbed faster than other amino acids, while they are metabolized directly in the muscles and not in the liver, enhancing protein synthesis. At the same time, they reduce muscle catabolism and help decrease the feeling of fatigue, allowing for more intense and efficient physical activities.
The package contains 700gr in powder with apple flavor.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It does its job like any other BCAA and quite well, the mango flavor is very nice, slightly sweet I would say but overall it tends towards a neutral taste
The smell is awful. However, the taste is really nice and it is enjoyable with cold water. The solubility is very good and effortless. Now let's talk about the... essence. It was used for a month with a dosage of 5 gr. as stated on the packaging immediately after the workout.
My workout includes one day of 8-10 km running or 30-35 km cycling, and the other day is weightlifting (full body). I don't rest any day.
As for running, I didn't see any improvement in endurance. There was a marginal improvement in weightlifting, visible but small. My diet is strict and I follow a nutritionist's program diligently. I weigh 70 kg and my goal is not to gain or lose a gram but to improve the fat/muscle ratio.
So, mixed feelings. To be honest, I didn't expect miracles, but I expected a little more in terms of endurance and a bit more in weightlifting, which didn't happen.
Perhaps one month is ultimately a short period to evaluate such products.
My experience tells me that protein powders have more visible results, at least for me, compared to the amino acids I have tried from time to time.
I'm not saying it's a bad or good product, I just expected a little more considering the workout I do.
