Purchase from Amazon.de (cheaper and simultaneous purchase of a case) on 09/23. I am truly impressed. I can read for hours and the battery lasts for days, even when using the backlight. Personally, I don't use the Kobo store because I sideload my books (I transfer them from my computer using Calibre), so I don't have an opinion on it. However, the compatibility with Calibre is excellent. The screen is incredibly easy on the eyes, and you can load your own fonts to read exactly how you prefer. The menu is very good and comfortable. It supports KOReader, which I use for reading PDFs since the default software isn't as good for PDFs. Overall, explore the small customizations you can make. But in general, for someone who reads a lot, it is extremely convenient as you have your entire library in your hands at any moment, especially if you acquire books from the "uncle" as the device pays for itself within the first year.

I have been using two Kobo Libra H20 devices for 2 years, and in the latest update, both of them have been locked, which means I can't add any new books from my computer. Even Calibre can't add books! I spoke with support and as soon as I told them I have Linux, they said it's not supported... even though it was supported just fine for 23 months. Good luck to those who don't have Linux. For me, NO MORE KOBO.

The Kobo Libra 2 is a lightweight ebook that doesn't strain your hands even after hours of use. Nevertheless, its construction is of high quality. The e-ink screen is easy on the eyes, with good resolution, doesn't glare in light, and resembles regular paper. It can be adjusted for brightness and the desired warm or cool lighting during reading. Additionally, one can choose a night mode, making the background black and the letters white. It has two buttons for page turning, which are very helpful for one-handed reading, while the screen automatically rotates when the device is turned. There is also the option to change pages by tapping on the touchscreen, which can be customized according to personal preference. I didn't have any issues with Greek epub files, except for one book that didn't display certain phrases in ancient Greek correctly. I have also read PDF files, which, although they don't lag, lack customization options for font style, size, and type. It is very easy to create bookmarks, highlights, and notes within the book being read, and it is equally easy to access them. The battery lasts for several days, depending on the chosen brightness intensity and hours of use. There are additional features such as internet browsing (which I don't recommend due to the screen type, as pages load slowly), some simple games, and statistics related to book reading. It connects to Wi-Fi and supports Bluetooth headphone connection for audiobook listening, but only supports audiobooks from their own platform (Kobo Rakuten). It is waterproof with an IPX8 certification, making it safe for reading in the bathroom and at the beach. As for storage capacity, the 32GB memory it has will be difficult to fill even for the most avid bookworm! As an extra accessory, one can purchase the book cover case from the company, which is of high quality, beautiful, slim, and has the ability to support the ebook on a surface. With the use of this specific case, as soon as the cover is closed, the ebook automatically enters standby mode, saving even more battery, and when the cover is opened, it returns to the point in the book where the reader had left off. Overall, it is a very good ebook, with the only downside for me being its high price.
