The webcam has a great image in light, I wonder about the comments I read here. It is perfect for video calls, just like its microphone, which picks up my voice very clearly.
As for the price, yes, it is expensive but you can't find any other that comes close to it, especially with integrated webcam, speakers, and microphone.
I had a also very good screen before (Dell U3223qe) but guys, Apple's screen is in a different class. It makes everyday work a pleasure, especially when you have multiple video calls.

What I connected with my macbook, the cable management went elsewhere. One cable does it all now.
The colors, the pixels, everything looks so nice, you enjoy writing and working.
Where I used to go out of the house to work in cafes, now I don't even leave the room... incredible experience.

Surely it was worth being a little bigger, but what can you do!

A beautiful screen with excellent build quality and perfect compatibility with the latest generation MacBook Pro laptops from Apple. Most buyers will think long and hard about whether it's worth spending €1800 to buy a 5K screen (a resolution exclusive to Apple). The money is proportional to the build quality, but not necessarily to the 5K panel itself. The image resolution and colors are incredible. What is also very good about the standard panel is the antiglare feature, without needing the nano texture technology, which of course costs more. I have a window right behind me and yet I have no problem working with this screen. The very good brightness it has at 600 nits helps with that. Someone who wants to buy this screen should be aware of two negatives, one of which is well-known in the industry. It is the webcam, which really shouldn't be of such poor quality on such an expensive screen. I used an old iPhone 11 as a webcam using the so-called continuity feature. Also, what I don't like is the sound because it has too much bass. It might be okay for foreign music, but for Greek music, it's not the best, at least for me. Another small negative is that the standard version of the screen does not come with height adjustment, which means you have to put something underneath to raise it by about 4-6 centimeters, which is okay because whatever you put underneath will stay there forever. I have only had the screen for twenty-four hours, so I will update this review after having it in my possession for a few months. For now, though, based on what I have seen so far, if I were to buy this screen again, the answer would definitely be yes because it performs the main task for which I bought it flawlessly. Twenty-seven inches is enough to have several windows open, and if you also have the 16.2" MacBook next to it, you can work comfortably. I also have the LG 5K UltraFine at my desk, which, although very good, is quite old, made of plain plastic without any sturdiness, with less brightness and definitely more reflection! If you need a very good screen for your work or for a degree you're pursuing, then I recommend it.

The APPLE STUDIO DISPLAY is truly a gem for the office, as even when you don't feel like working, you turn it on just to not lose touch with absolute perfection and continue working (similar to what addicted gamers do with 360Hz gaming monitors, which they only turn off when they go to sleep). The price, of course, is ridiculous, 1,850 for the basic version, and if you want the adjustable stand and nanotexture glass, you can reach 2,800. This specific monitor is for deep pockets, like a Rolex watch for 2,500 Euros, which you can find cheaper alternatives just to see the time.

Advantages:
- 218 HIDPI, which is a must if you want to connect it as an external monitor to a Macbook / Mac Mini; otherwise, with 1440p monitors, you fall to 109 HIDPI (because Apple has blocked HIDPI on other monitors, resulting in blurry fonts, which is a problem for professionals, especially in the Finder, where folders/files remind you of the ZX Spectrum era).
- 600 Nits Brightness (100 nits more than the old iMac 27)
- Incredible speakers that can easily throw a party when they are at 30% volume
- 1 Thunderbolt 4, which works perfectly with Mac Mini / Macbook
- 3 USB C ports that easily charge the Macbook (up to 90W) and provide high speeds when connecting external drives
- Tremendous construction, truly a gem

Disadvantages:
- It doesn't have any adjustment buttons, so if connected to a PC, all settings are done only through the NVIDIA/AMD Control Panel.
- 60Hz, but there is no problem because it doesn't have the classic tearing in windows of a common monitor since it is retina technology (after all, it's not for gaming but only for professional use).
- The cable is attached to the monitor (therefore, it is not convenient for transportation).
- It doesn't have an audio jack.

Overall, anyone who has the money to buy it will not deal with other monitors for five years and will greatly increase their performance in whatever profession they are in because you truly won't be able to detach yourself from it
