    I have been using them daily at work for several years to climb up and down vertical and inclined metal stairs on cranes at heights of 20-40 meters. They have the best grip out of all the ones I have tried, even on wet metal, despite not being waterproof. With the above usage, they last me for months, the only wear is the coating between the index finger and thumb due to friction with the metal on the non-slip treads. They also withstand washing
