Nice base for spotlights, it is made of plastic but it looks beautiful and durable. The springs are soft up to a point, they are not as hard as others that you cannot remove them, but they keep it stable in place. The spotlights are not held completely still, they have a very small movement, but maybe this is designed due to contraction and expansion.
