The story deals with the concept of the "other", which appears as a threat of decomposition and dissolution, as a construction of the imaginary that is placed in the stage of recognizing the world and oneself and in the processes that this entails, namely the distinction between "good" and "evil", "permissible" and "forbidden". The central heroine of the story, who suffers from an incurable disease, essentially reinvents her familiar reality by transforming elements from it to construct other, possible or impossible worlds.

Whether one wants to frame this reinvention as the main protagonist or use it as background for the development of the story, it remains an opportunity to study the mortality of human nature and the determination of the finite human being who interacts with an infinite world that will always surpass him.
