The watch does everything. I didn't expect anything less from Garmin, to be honest! Some people write that the solar doesn't work and doesn't charge! I wonder if they know what the solar does! With the Garmin 6, when I was running, from 100% battery, when I finished in 50 minutes it went to 80% with everything open! + chest strap. With the Garmin 7 solar, from 100% it drops to 96%! So, for people to know, IT DOESN'T CHARGE!!!! It takes a long time for the battery to drop!! With wifi Bluetooth open all day, the battery drops by 7%. It easily lasts 10 days but I charge it every week. It's a very good choice for an athlete, whether amateur or professional. It's not an Apple watch, it's not a Huawei... it's a different category!!
Amazing watch, if you are intensely active and the data it provides makes sense to you. The touchscreen, apart from the maps, also helps with quick navigation through glances, etc. During workouts, I have it disabled. I don't have much to say about the battery, it lasts around 5-6 days with music usage and multiband GNSS during running, which is the most power-consuming mode. I was concerned about the MIP screen before purchasing, especially since the new Forerunner models with AMOLED came out, but I actually really like it. It's always clear, even at night with backlight usage at 20-40%. I also like that it's always on, you don't have a black screen on your wrist. You can see all notifications from your phone, and if you have wireless headphones, you can answer calls from the watch and use quick replies like "yes/no/can't talk right now" in necessary situations. I've had to use them at work. The weight is something you get used to, I wear it constantly, even during sleep, but I haven't had a lighter smartwatch to compare it to. Lastly, the titanium frame can get scratched, so it requires attention, although over time it becomes inevitable, you get used to it, it matches the concept of a premium outdoor sportwatch.
Expensive but awesome! However, you need to be aware that you're not buying an Apple Watch, so you shouldn't expect the same features.
The screen of it is not that good. I believe with this money it should have been superior, it looks faded.
The watch is very good in terms of its functions and capabilities, but the sapphire is a waste of money that you shouldn't spend. I don't even know where the scratch comes from, I haven't hit the watch anywhere, and when I take it off my wrist, I place it on fabric.. It shouldn't have been scratched like this.
