Awesome watch, it does what it promises. With incredible accuracy in GPS and measurements, as well as battery life. Anyone looking for a premium sportwatch will be satisfied and more, as it is the best in its category.
Perhaps the most comprehensive multiwatch sportwatch. Of course, it does not have all the features of a smartwatch (e.g. Samsung or iWatch) but that is not its reason for existence. It is durable, quite accurate in heart rate and GPS measurements, with a variety of features and a battery that, combined with solar charging, lasts about 3 weeks with 3-4 workouts per week - especially if the workouts are outdoors to help with solar charging. Many measurements and a user-friendly mobile app for monitoring them. Among its positives are the lens with integrated LED in the case and the ability for contactless payments (Garmin Pay). Quick strap change to be able to change the style - from sporty to more formal with the brown leather strap. Sapphire glass for zero scratches and overall a very beautiful watch if you like this style. Although I have a relatively "normal" wrist and use the largest at 51mm, it looks great, without looking oversized at all.
Former owner of Samsung Watch 4 Pro & Amazfit GTR 3. I chose it because both previous watches got water damage from swimming in a pool, and the Fenix seems to guarantee waterproofing in this area. I expected a much better smartwatch for the money. The significant difference in positives is the battery life, which is amazing (20 days with heavy use), and the fact that it is truly waterproof.
On the other hand, its measurements are not reliable (heart rate, calories that I have checked), the interface is difficult to use - 5 buttons with different functions and in different combinations require a lot of time to get used to - the touch function doesn't work well - it requires persistence to make it work... the mobile application is also difficult to use... the strap feels cheap and plastic... Honestly, I do not recommend it... I believe I spent a lot of money for no reason... I conclude that the best watch was the Amazfit, except for its waterproofing.
Amazing and complete sports watch. Incredible autonomy. The only downside I have found is the very poor response of the buttons, almost without feeling.
The best on the market. A primarily sports watch with Smart features. A coach on your wrist with programs and settings. Very easy synchronization with both smartphone and PC for map updates. Reliable measurements and full customization for anything one can imagine.
Flawless watch! The truth is that I consider it overrated for the extra 2-3 things it has to offer for an additional 200-300 euros, while you could save them with just a plain Fenix 7x or Forerunner 955! However, if you have them and want them, you will give them.
I am a little concerned about the battery because it claims to have a 29-day endurance, but having it connected to the phone and the usual functions, such as measuring heart rate all day without using it for activities and minimal interaction in the menu due to work, it consumes about 6% in a 24-hour period, which corresponds to approximately 17 days! I wonder if this is reasonable or if there is an issue with mine.
Please answer me if you want in the "questions" topic where I have asked a question.
1.
I agree with the previous reviews. Incredible watch. Very lightweight for its size. The screen is readable even with low brightness. The touchscreen is what made me switch from my Samsung. The battery is non-existent. Maybe it's not worth the extra money I paid for the titanium bracelet version. And with the black strap, it looks very nice.
The best thing that has been released in the world of smartwatches!!
Those who can afford it, get it without hesitation.
I bought it mainly for ultra races, but I couldn't imagine the functions it has before I discovered them in use.
The watch is reliable in its measurements with very good accuracy and looks nice on the wrist.
I haven't connected the phone for calls and messages so I can't have an opinion (I'm not interested as a smartwatch).
Solar charging helps a lot in its autonomy.
A negative is that the bezel scratches easily...
Time will show its durability and reliability.
Whatever is the best that has been released so far in the world of adventure smartwatch - watch.
Those of you who have the money, don't hesitate...
The watch is very good, I had the 6 pro, and I didn't regret it for a moment.
The GPS accuracy is much better now, even in the forest with dense vegetation it is quite accurate.
The touch screen is a big upgrade.
Battery life is 25 days+.
The camera is also very convenient, as it activates instantly with a double click.
I would just like a slightly better feel on the buttons, as some are a bit hard, without the click sensation, and others are too loose, making a strange double click.
Overall, the watch is worth 100% and I would definitely buy it again.
There is a significant difference compared to the Fenix 5 in terms of measurement accuracy and customization through phone and laptop. Regarding heart rate measurements, it needs further improvement as it cannot match the accuracy of the chest strap measurement.
