I haven't had it for a long time to judge its reliability, but the first impressions are positive. It is not particularly noisy and does not reach extreme temperatures. However, the important thing is for it to withstand the test of time...

I bought 2 of the same from two different stores.
And both of them don't work.
And both of them have a problem.
They don't work at all... they make a repetitive noise.
I tried connecting only the power and they don't even turn on.
The computer is useless.
I took it to a specialist technician at TECHNORASIS in Thessaloniki and he told me that the power supply of the computer got burned when he tried to test it.
I bought the second one because I'm in a hurry and I need to make a backup while I had already sent the first one for replacement, where they told me that it needs to be sent abroad to see what the problem is.
Complete disappointment...
I went to foreign forums and saw that others have the same problem and also someone here had the same issue...
I still don't know what will happen and today I applied for a refund for the second one

I bought 4 X20 20TB disks gradually over a period of 9 months, they have had 0% failure, so I am satisfied.
The disks are stand alone, not in a NAS, in a climate-controlled environment and UPS.

I was reading about noise, etc.... Guys, I spent money for nothing... The disk is NOISELESS... Yes, I'm talking about the 20TB EXOS... Because I needed it, I built its own open case with its own (old) ATX power supply so that I can open and close it whenever I want (due to the noise I was expecting). The disk is literally not audible - not even a buzz... I have a green 1TB WD that its buzz (its resonance - and it resonates wherever and with whatever I put it) drives me crazy. The EXOS, after the characteristic vrrr vrrr sound it makes when it starts, simply cannot be heard anymore... BUT... I haven't put it inside a PC case... But that's the job of the PC case - not the disk...

It easily reaches the nominal speed in copying large files. It is relatively quiet when idle, it can be heard but not at an annoying level when in use. I have it behind a case fan @1000rpm and with a room temperature of 28C, under normal use it stays at 43C. When I first got it, I did a full checkdisk (it took about 2 days) and the maximum temperature reached was 50C.

If someone needs that much space, I would recommend it.
