The edition of the Teaching Book titled "Multimedia, Theory and Applications" functions in conjunction with corresponding books that deal with computer technology and multimedia application development software. It consists of three parts.
The first chapter is an introduction to computer science and provides information about technologies and software related to multimedia applications. It focuses more on the parts of the computer that provide information about the graphics card, the graphics processing display, while giving a brief description of DVD devices as storage media.
The second chapter presents multimedia applications that have been released in the Greek market and attempts to depict how various media have been used in practice, that is, how text is used, what is the role of images and sound, what expressive capabilities video and animation have. [...]

The course of Computer Science and Multimedia is not only part of introductory teaching, but also as an independent course, mandatory or elective, usually in a higher academic semester, even as an independent thematic unit in postgraduate specialization diplomas.
