Audiophile levels!
I've never had such good headphones. Their sound is top-notch, easily surpassing my wired ones, and it relieved the anxiety I had about wireless headsets (after the huge disappointment with the Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT). The THX is magical both in gaming and movies, and the bass hits hard. In gaming, I've been playing World of Warships for years and for the first time, I heard the waves crashing against the hull. And the torpedoes passing by me with different sounds depending on their caliber!!!
For music, I am also very satisfied as I played around with the EQ and added a 55% Bass Boost and low haptics. Very clean sound, whether it's metal, rock, or classical. Very clean bass, it only gets muddy if I increase the haptics. Normally, for music, I use the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm with brainwavz XL earpads, so the fact that this headset covers me says a lot. Excellent overall performance, I can hear the instruments clearly, it's at an audiophile level.
The only thing that bothers me is that their USB-C is relatively shallow and on both sides, most of my USB-C cables don't fit properly. Some do fit, but in the end, I use the one from Razer. It's not enough reason to deduct a star, the headset is amazing!
The worst product from Razer by far until now...
1. It never stops charging, and the charging never reaches 100%, resulting in the battery deteriorating over time.
2. There is no battery percentage indicator in the Synapse 3 application, just like in other wireless products from the same company!!!
3. The right earphone always sounds louder.
4. When using THX, Synapse freezes the windows.
5. Hyper sense disrupts the dynamic positioning of the sound.
Guys, these problems have been present since December 2021 and until now, as I am writing this, nothing has been fixed. They should have gone for a recall. The internet is going crazy about this issue. I managed to get a refund right away, but I regret not investigating from the beginning...
Guys, I want to protect you.. Headphones as if you are getting them from a no-name company. Only negatives and no, I don't have a defective batch. Among the bugs, most of the time they don't work properly, when you charge them their battery doesn't stop charging, resulting in damage over time, of course as a construction they are terrible since almost in the first two months the cushions faded and broke. Half of the time half of the specs work, the other half not. Synapse almost never recognizes them and also for no reason they stop working sometimes randomly. You just have to unplug the stick (bluetooth) from the computer and plug it back in but it's extremely annoying. There are many more negatives but I won't even bother to analyze them. Speaking to you as a user who has been using only Razer for many years now. STAY AWAY FROM RAZER now.. it's not even worth half the money.
When it comes to these headphones, the truth is that although they are powerful, I have to say that at first I was hesitant to buy them because of some issues I read about when they were released, but later on, they were resolved. Personally, I wanted to invest in reliable headphones for steady work but also have high capabilities while also having the luxury of wireless. Basically, I wanted top-notch wireless headphones to cover all my needs.
• Construction and Quality
Their construction is expectedly of very good quality, especially when we talk about this price range. They are definitely "heavy" and bulky headphones, but I can't say that they are uncomfortable or that you feel them heavy when wearing them, at least speaking personally. Both the headphone pads and the headband padding are of very good quality and provide comfortable cushioning for extended use. There is no need to further discuss the construction quality as the headphones seem to have very good quality even from videos on the internet and reviews.
• Sound
Obviously, in this price range, the headphones are intended for heavy use in terms of demands, and their sound is very good. Obviously, this is also influenced by the fact that they have the ability for someone to adjust, among other things, the sound settings according to their preferences through Synapse. Some ready-made sound settings are also provided by the program, and there is also a function for spatial audio. There are more detailed guides on the internet about the quality and capabilities of the headphones, so there is no need to further analyze them here. In summary, the sound is very good and definitely meets the needs of someone who wants to have a much higher than average sound experience. Specifically, for the gaming aspect, which obviously is the main focus of such headphones, they are very powerful and offer a very good experience, which is also shaped through Synapse according to each person's preferences. In the whole sound experience, whether it's music or gaming, the haptics also contribute a lot, which will be discussed separately. However, even with the haptics function turned off, the experience is still very good.
• Haptics
In general, a lot has been said about the haptics of these headphones in reviews on the internet. The truth is that it is something new, so recently it has appeared as a feature in headsets. I can say that they add a lot to the overall user experience, and personally, I have the haptics turned on and often use them for an extra boost when listening to music. Obviously, we are not discussing compatibility and experience in games that support high sound capabilities like Battlefield, for example. There, it is clear how good of a feature it is and how much more interactive it makes the game.
• Microphone
I can say that the microphone of the headphones is above average in terms of quality for sure, but there are certainly other headsets in the same price range that have better microphones. However, in no case can someone say that it is not good or that it does not meet the requirements. A significant improvement of the microphone can be made through Synapse. Personally, after spending some time adjusting the settings, the sound of my microphone improved significantly.
• Battery
When dealing with wireless headphones, obviously one of the most important factors is the battery quality and duration. Due to the many and high capabilities, the battery can obviously be depleted quite quickly if all functions are active for many hours. Personally, to save battery, I have the RGB of the headphones turned off (which I must say are very good and beautiful) and the haptics maybe on low or not at all, depending on my mood and type of use. By using them this way, my battery can last up to one and a half days. I will talk more in detail below about the use of the headphones.
Negatives
Personally, I am more than satisfied with the purchase so far (2 months). If necessary, this review will be modified in the future. Having said that, I have some negative comments to note:
• The headphones, unlike other models from other companies, do not come with any kind of protection, such as a cover, case, or pouch bag, as many other models usually do. This led me to search and buy a case from elsewhere for carrying and storing the headphones, which fortunately came with an extra pouch bag for the headphones and two smaller fabric bags for the cables.
• The padding on the headband, although very comfortable and smooth, seemed sensitive and possibly prone to wear from the first moment. This is normal due to hair and frequent use, which can cause friction and oil. Personally, my headphones have not been damaged at all, but I invested in a comfortable cover for the headband to avoid any concerns.
• The most significant negative aspect of these headphones is that there is NOWHERE an indication of the battery percentage (e.g. 75%). There is only an icon in the synapse with an icon showing the battery as full, half, or empty. This is a major drawback because you cannot accurately know the battery status. The community has complained quite a bit about this issue, and I believe it will be addressed in a future update, along with other issues that arose when the headphones were first released on the market.
Usage and Final Tips
Investing in a case and a comfortable cover for the headband greatly contributes to the longevity of the headphones, and they are not too expensive, so I definitely recommend them. I should note that the protective cover for the headband does not hinder or alter the comfort of the headphones at all. Additionally, proper battery usage greatly contributes to the longevity of the headphones. In full operation, the headphones theoretically have 10-11 hours of use, and with the RGB and haptics turned off, they can last up to 40 hours. These numbers are quite good and are indeed noticeable in practice, although I did not precisely time them. However, I recommend that anyone who purchases them should see how long it takes for the headphones to charge and estimate how long it will take to reach around 80%, as this is the best for the health and longevity of the battery and, by extension, the headphones (e.g. if they take 2.5 hours to charge, they will be around 80% in about 2 hours and 15 minutes). Finally, it is recommended to connect the headphones to a computer using the jack cable provided to save battery.
However, the headphones are definitely recommended as they perform satisfactorily in all types of uses

For someone who has the money, just don't think about it!! Look into the settings, lower the bass, increase the treble, and feel the beat piercing your head!!!!!!!! They have a slight issue with volume adjustment, you lower it from the PC and after 1 second, the headphones lower it too... in CS, I shoot with the Desert Eagle and I feel the power of the weapon in my head as if it's really next to me....!!!!! GET THEM!!!
Short battery life, sound cuts off during the first one or two seconds of playback of any file (video, music, etc.), weak signal range. Software errors that have been present since the initial release of this product on the market and still persist today, despite multiple updates and worldwide consumer complaints. You will find them on the Razer forum and elsewhere. Not worth the money, especially for the average Greek consumer. Look for a different model of the same value or even better from another company.
Amazingly, I have heard many negative things about the entire kraken series, but I remain satisfied. They are worth their money for what they do, and the haptic is perfect for both music and gaming, especially in pinpointing sound at critical speed. Just install their software and use them with it.
Simply incredible. I replaced my previous ones (barracuda x) with these. It's like day and night. Here we are talking about quality both in sound and in construction. First of all, they are expensive and aimed at those who want to have the quality and technology of Razer, especially from the top series. The Kraken would say are the most well-known series of headphones that have sold a lot of pieces, as wired, which have proven to be tough both in handling and in their performance. I was looking for a wireless one that would satisfy me in sound quality, mainly to be bassy, but also as a whole construction to be something solid and beautiful as part of the collection of peripherals of the gaming PC I have. These specific ones have left me completely satisfied.
The construction, as soon as you hold them, makes you feel and understand that you have something expensive and very good in your hands. The ear cushions are inflated with very good isolation but also a nice feel on your ears. The headband is also reinforced. They sit very comfortably on my head and are stable. Their sound is very clear and loud enough, without being tiring.
Fortunately, they are bassier than the previous ones and you can adjust them via Synapse to give more bass boost. It has, of course, the well-known EQ and related settings for someone who wants to tailor it according to what they like to listen to. The program shows you how full the battery is, but without a percentage. They may fix that in the future, although you don't need to worry as they last several hours of use. The update, once downloaded from the page, is done both on the USB stick and on the headphones that you connect later with the USB cable. The instructions are very informative. Quick process and clearly helps in sound management.
They were tested in games with both standard sound and THX spatial audio. Of course, there is a difference, and it is considered one of the serious 7.1 surround. You have a better sense of space, which will help you have better performance in games. Nice effect with real environment conditions. Now let's go to the special effect that these advertise, the hypersense technology (haptic feedback). Some will like it, while others may find it excessive. Even though it has 3 levels, even the first is quite strong. You immediately feel your whole ear vibrating from the bass, which is synchronized with the vibrations they produce, and the result is fantastic and something unprecedented, I would say, for today's standards. If a bomb falls near you in the game, it might scare you if you have it turned up. I like it and will get used to it as I haven't played many games yet. Its lighting is nice too, and you can synchronize it with the other Razer peripherals. Let's not forget that they are gaming headphones, but you can easily watch movies with nice sound and effects.
I am very satisfied with my purchase and want to try them in several games to understand the difference and to get what the creators have to offer me, as it is very important and of immense significance, I would say, to feel the atmosphere that prevails in each game and this, in turn, to immerse you in its story. So whoever wants to use something good and take advantage of all these benefits, then it is worth investing their money in these headphones.
With the first hour of use, I understood why they cost so much. You feel every hit, every step, every explosion. No other product has this. It's called Hypersense and it only exists in the Kraken V3.
These specific ones are the Pro and they are Wireless. At this point, I should mention that it is the first Razer product I see working with sidetone. To make it work, you need to have the headset volume at max (using the wheel) and the Sidetone volume in Synapse at max. But it works.
The only other headsets I have seen with sidetone are the Logitech Wireless Pro (which are not comfortable at all unlike the Kraken, they barely fit my head) and the Corsair Virtuoso XT, which also don't fit me well. The Kraken V3 are as comfortable as the Nari.
The Razer Kraken V3 Pro is the wireless sibling of the new Razer Kraken V3 series. It is a 2.4GHz wireless headset with zero delay, featuring RGB lighting and the HyperSense function that allows you to add vibrations while gaming, enhancing the immersive sound experience, similar to the technology found in the PS5 Controller. The Haptic Feedback has three levels, although for my taste, the ideal levels are "Low" or "Medium," as the maximum level seems excessive. In "Low," they have an audio profile that emphasizes explosions, footsteps, or offers a different experience in movies.
The wireless mode delay is at the same level as a wired connection, and the battery lasts approximately 40 hours with all effects turned off, while with Haptic (HyperSense) and RGB, the battery dramatically decreases to 10 hours. It charges in about 3 hours, and you can also use them simultaneously while charging.
They support connection with PC, Mac, PS, Switch, Xbox, and mobile devices with a 3.5mm Audio Jack (the headset has a port for a detachable Audio Jack Cable).
The sound of the headphones is bassier than I would like, not excessively bass boosted to the point of ruining the sound, but not at a soft level either. Personally, I enjoyed them very much in action single-player games and movies. Through Synapse (Razer's program), you can also make specific changes to the sound of the headphones with the 10 Band EQ to tailor it to your preferences, such as reducing the bass in my case.
As a headset, I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable one I've worn from Razer, as there is some pressure on the ears that can become uncomfortable after many hours of use. However, I have large ears, which is the reason for the issue. But I mention it so that users with a similar "description" are aware of it.
The microphone provides good overall performance, with clear sound that distinguishes your voice, while also canceling out any ambient noise.

Overall, I believe that if you are not interested in Haptic or RGB, a better choice from the same company would be the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, which has a lower price and a more balanced sound that I personally prefer. However, if you like the description of the Kraken V3 Pro or if you are attracted to their appearance, they are obviously not a bad choice, but I do not consider them to be the best option when the Blackshark is available.
The main criterion for me is the comparison with the Nari Ultimate, which I have had since they were released!
Compared to the Nari Ultimate, the Kraken Pro v3 have metal in the speaker contacts (I glued them with instant glue on the Nari Ultimate after 2 years)
THX is excellent where supported, but ridiculous when activated in unsupported games!
In general, the Kraken series has always had good construction/durability
They are fine but they make some strange noises when you shake them. When the battery is low, they have a very annoying sound that doesn't stop and the buttons don't have proper video control, for example
