Pippi Longstocking lives in Villa Villekulla with a monkey and a horse. She always does whatever she wants and is incredibly strong. Other children are jealous of her and adults find her unbearable until they get to know her. Annika and Tommy are her two friends who live next door. Sometimes they get frustrated with her unusual ways, but they admire her kindness, generosity, and her ability to make even the most boring moment exciting.
