In 1924, the Nobel Prize candidates were Thomas Mann, Thomas Hardy, George Bernard Shaw - we never read in Greek the one who took it from them, the Polish Władysław Stanisław Reymont with the book REBELLION. We were also never told that the honored work likely served as the model for Orwell's Animal Farm. A translation feat by Anastasia Chatzigiannidi, an afterword that puts the basics in place, original collage by Athina Stamati, the blessings of the Polish Book Institute: the Greek edition of this great work. An allegory that, through the vehicle of rebellions and the power of voluntary servitude, reflects on the fate of the animal revolution against human cruelty.
