Since the 2019-20 school year, the school textbook "Material Folder," an anthology of philosophical texts, has been taught in the Ancient Greek course of the Humanities Orientation Group of the 3rd Grade of Lyceum, introducing new standards in the teaching of the subject. This book is the first volume of the aid "Ancient Greek 3rd Grade of Lyceum, Material Folder," concerning the taught text and covering the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thematic Units of the school textbook, totaling 11 teaching units.

This work is adapted to the new way of evaluating the course and the needs of the classroom, aiming to assist both the student and the educator in the thorough approach to the reference texts that constitute examinable material. At the beginning of the book, there are instructions and methodological tools for each observation of the taught text. The work contains for each reference text the translation corresponding to the ancient text, etymological comments, a brief rendering of the meaning, as well as rich interpretative analysis. Additionally, it includes the answers to all the indicative activities of the school book and the processing of all parallel texts. Each unit concludes with additional interpretative and lexical exercises for further deepening, as well as additional parallel texts. Finally, for the comprehensive preparation of the candidates, indicative evaluation criteria with their answers are provided.
