They brought it to us as a gift. It has a soft light and the stars appear somewhat dimly lit, yet the baby sees them and follows them! It has a variety of sounds. Overall, it is nice, but not for 40 euros!

Generally (and as a child psychologist), I recommend that you do not get anything like this and do not get your child used to sleeping like this. But since it was given to us as a gift, I decided to write a review. All the functions stop after 10 minutes on their own. It has nice melodies. The light has alternating, soft colors. The stars need complete darkness to be seen well and mainly illuminate upwards, so you have to place it in the center of the room to see them on the ceiling. The most enjoyable use for us was to see the stars, count them, and distinguish between big and small, close and far.

I have been using it since the birth of my son, until today, who is 8 months old. It has 3 melodies, I think, and 3 nature sounds. It is at the right volume, so even if the music button is accidentally pressed, no one gets scared. The little stars entertained him a lot when he was little, now he is more interested in what he can bite. So that little doll, which sticks with Velcro, is very useful! It was a good purchase and I would recommend it as a gift.

Edit 2023: This toy has been working non-stop since 2015 when my first child was born, until now, when my second child is 2.5 years old. It has survived countless falls! Although I see that its price has skyrocketed...
