The subject of the study "Loan Agreement and Covenants Clauses" is the examination of the relationship established by the loan agreement and the functioning of the terms contained in this agreement to strengthen the position of the bondholder. The monograph is divided into two interconnected themes: The first part is dedicated to the loan agreement and its characteristics, while the second part examines the role and legal consequences of the covenants clauses as contractual mechanisms for preventive security and strengthening the position of the bondholder in the loan agreement. The term "loan agreement" is used broadly in the study to denote the two main documents of this financial transaction, namely the bond loan program and the covering agreement, which govern and regulate the legal relationship between the issuer and the investor. The development of the individual themes is mainly from the perspective of tort law and especially the law of contractual torts. The book is supplemented with an appendix, where model clauses of bond loan agreements are provided in Greek, classified by categories, so that they can be used by legal practitioners as a "toolbox".
