It is very practical, I had stuck it in a handmade plastic aquarium for hamsters. The construction of its materials is not perfect and I believe that it was expensive from the store where I bought it. Unfortunately, for this type of aquariums, it is very useful unless you make your own construction, meaning a normal one with thick wire that can be attached to the edge of the cage. Also, it is a few ml, meaning in the summer you need about 3ml if you want to go somewhere for a couple of days
