  Unfortunately, I didn't like it. There is the humor that I liked in some parts, the messages it conveys, and the easy-to-read writing style. BUT! I didn't like the story! All the events happened at the most appropriate time and now what will happen was expected. I don't think anything shocked me in the book because how the story would unfold was expected. I don't agree with many things, regarding the actions of the heroine. Nor do I agree that her impulsive choices were right NOR WERE THEY ROMANTIC! I believe that the book is purely for girls aged 14-17 and in no case for older ages! The reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it had some comedic elements that I quite liked!

  The only thing I will say is that there is a reason why it is the number one bestseller on booktok and in the global market! Excellent characters and a difficult story of domestic violence that generates love and intrigue. It is based on the true story of the author's mother. When I recommended it, they loved it! It is an incredible book and there is now a sequel! I can't wait for more of Hoover's books to be translated!

  Easy to read and kept me in suspense until the end! Wonderful story BUT definitely not suitable for children under 16 as I see in some comments. Engaging and never boring! I read it all in 2 days. It's one of those books that creates images in your mind and makes you feel like you watched a movie. It's definitely not a typical love story, until the epilogue I didn't know where the story would ultimately end up and that kept me in suspense.

  What can I say. If you're not 12-15 years old, the book is tragic. The writing is too simplistic, there is no substance or plot, I don't understand why it has been discussed so much. I got it because I heard it deals with relationships after abuse, but honestly, it's anything but that. If you want to see if you'll like it, first search for the audiobook on YouTube to see that it's just shallow. In many chapters, there is constant repetition of the same things. Get something else a thousand times, it's not worth it.
