The Tempest 3 D-Dry® is a men's touring jacket that guarantees its user safety and comfort throughout the year.
With the waterproof D-Dry® membrane, rain and atmospheric factors are no longer a problem. The removable thermal lining ensures comfort on the coldest days and in all conditions.
In warm climates and to ensure proper thermal comfort, two chest vents and two rear ventilation zippers allow the user to effectively and precisely regulate the airflow to the body.
The highest Dainese safety standards are met with the Pro-Armor Lev. 2, Type B protectors on the elbows and shoulders. This is the highest level of limb protection certification, with the largest possible coverage area. Inspired by the geometries of natural fractals, the Dainese Pro-Armor technology allows for maximum protection, with the mobility of a soft protector and ideal ventilation thanks to a surface that is perforated over 40% of its area.

I have had it for just over 2 months and I have covered many kilometers with it.
Initially, it is indeed very warm and does not let rain through (at least not yet).
The ventilation, especially compared to the competition, is well below average as the pockets are very small and there is no ventilation zipper on the sleeves.
The overall construction quality is well below average with just 2 months of daily use, the strap of the thermal lining has torn.
The velcro on the main front pockets has completely lost its properties, resulting in the pockets opening while in motion!
I would recommend avoiding it, it does the basics decently but it will barely last a winter season of use...
Purchase for travel use! It passed the first test successfully with a 3-day trip on a mountainous route. I didn't feel the slightest sensation of cold at temperatures of 7-8 degrees and speeds of 100-120 km/h. I was wearing thermal clothing inside and a thin t-shirt. I didn't experience any rain, so I will come back with an update. Good fit, good buttons, and zippers.
