The relationship of Minos Volanakis with texts was alive, constantly changing, evolving. He perceived them as organisms that breathe and change, in their contact with the director, the actors, and the audience. For Minos Volanakis, the engagement with the text did not stop at its performance or the staging of a play. It was an open conversation.

After his death, we faced different versions, translations, interpretations of his works. In an effort to provide as comprehensive a picture as possible of his thought, Bibliotheque editions studied his archives, notes, and recordings, in order to arrive at a unification of his vision for each work, which remains malleable and free; open to the director, actor, or reader who wishes to study it, yet complete, under the light and creative intelligence of Minos Volanakis.
