The product was defective. Initially, it came in packaging that had been carelessly opened previously, without an instruction sheet and of course without a plug for the USB cable. The thing is, I wanted to gift it as well, so I haphazardly tidied up the packaging (wrongly, I didn't test it myself with power) only for the recipient to discover that it didn't work. I literally believe that they passed me what someone else had returned out of dissatisfaction! Shame!

It did not come with instructions and it does not connect to Bluetooth on my phone to function as a recording speaker. As a light, it is fine.
