ABOUT ELENARA THE BEAUTY

It's a big deal to be a beautiful girl! Oh, boy! Men pass by with fiery glances, their mouths water, they sigh deeply and throw their hot comments:

- Oh my, my beautiful fish!

Some insolent ones come to touch their dry hands on bodily curves, as if, my brother, they are completely satisfied with this filth, some others take it further and say disgusting obscenities and proudly display this "self-service" behavior..., in the trolleys they try to stick without reason or cause, and the police don't catch them to give them a good beating to make them come to their senses, instead they let them talk, they shut down the pinball machines -very rightly- and leave the disgusting ones, very wrongly...

And the beauty enjoys it. All the beauties of the world. Down in Buenos Aires, there is a street called Avenida de Flores. So there, every evening, when the shops close, something strange happens (I don't know if the custom continues).

Men gather on the sidewalks of the Avenida, which is very large, and the girls walk on the pavement of the avenue. Thousands of girls, not vulgar. From those who work, from those who came out for a stroll, from the middle classes. And the men tease them. Without filth, chivalrously and charmingly, because the Spaniards have a way of saying charming things to women. And any girl who is not teased, either by chance, or because she is insignificant, or for another reason, falls into deep misery and goes home to cry inconsolably...

Which means that every woman wants to be called beautiful and to be admired and to be teased charmingly, not filthily... And she likes to pose as beautiful, otherwise she wouldn't paint her eyes, nor would she let her hair fall over her eyes like a Pekingese dog. A woman's weapon is vanity...

This people of the Leleges, considered beauty a virtue... And apart from Aphrodite, the Graces, the numerous representative subjects, they also created Helen, a kind of goddess and woman. With all the virtues and all the flaws...

Tsiforos in high spirits, a book that I have read for years and still go back to when I want to smile.. the Greek mythology narrated correctly but with a humorous tone.. similarly entertaining and other books by the author with a similar style of a different era

I have an old version, and it is a bit worn out, so in terms of quality.. be careful haha, but overall it is a wonderful book. I plan to buy it in perfect condition
