The vacuum cleaner is very good. I have a big dog that sheds a lot and it's a lifesaver! It collects so much hair and dust that you can't believe it exists in the house (even though I use it daily and maybe twice a day). The light is amazing, if you vacuum especially without turning on the lights, you can see even the tiniest speck of dust!!
The negatives are: 1. Emptying the bin (you get covered in dust - I empty it outside so it doesn't go everywhere) 2. One of the reasons I chose it was the battery life (it claims 65 minutes). It didn't last that long even in the first 2-3 uses, when the battery was brand new. However, for now, I usually manage to vacuum my 120 sqm house twice. There is also the option to purchase an additional battery, so you always have one charged and don't run out. 3. It would be good to have a brush on the bottom side of the foot (like robotic vacuums have, or like the hard brush that electric ones have), so it can remove stuck food from the floor. If it's something stuck, it doesn't pull it, I have to scrape it off for it to suck it up.
I have had this vacuum cleaner for about a month. I bought it to replace the classic one with a cord and because I didn't have a handheld vacuum. I will start with the disadvantages.
1. The base does not store all its accessories. One of them has to stay attached to the body of the vacuum cleaner.
2. The LED light works well in some places and makes it difficult in others. It depends on the color of the surface you are vacuuming. It is difficult on dark carpets, for example (unless you are vacuuming in the dark).
3. However, the biggest and really serious issue is the way the dustbin is emptied. It is wrongly mentioned somewhere that it is a self-cleaning dustbin or something like that. Obviously, it cannot be cleaned. Neither can the filter be cleaned (neither of the two filters it has). You just wipe it with a cloth. It fills the air with dust and your hands with which you then try to assemble the vacuum cleaner and everything becomes white.
I haven't had any problems with the battery, and I haven't timed it. We'll see. I chose this vacuum cleaner for the 10-year warranty that Bosch provides for the motor and because it is easier to find a battery if needed.
I found it with a battery in its box, plus a gift. I chose the pet model even though I don't have pets for the brushes it provides. I mention this because it definitely needs it. With the power it has in auto mode (which recognizes the terrain you use it on), each battery lasts for 25 hours. Working with such a powerful cordless vacuum is a real blessing. The mini turbo brush, which is for pet beds and cushions, literally digs into the fabrics with a mechanical brush and removes dust fibers from the fabrics and part of the mites. Honestly, any fabric object you have changes color after using it because of how well it cleans from the inside. The head on my bed became like new. Also, the long elastic attachment will make you never think of pulling the refrigerator out again to clean underneath. I cleaned even the thin slices of the radiator with it. I am very happy with the choice, I have a white floor and the LED shows me things that I would never see on it due to dust. It easily fits under the beds, the head is flexible to turn in all difficult areas, it replaced my Black & Decker vacuum just for fun, and most importantly, I clean areas that have never been cleaned in the car where this vacuum reaches with so much power. Very easy emptying with a filter that collects the very fine dust that is like compact white soil, and a rubber wheel on its main attachment that traps every hair so you can easily remove it. The negatives are its weight due to the motor, which took me 2 weeks to get used to so that I can handle it very comfortably now, and the slow charging, around 3 and a half hours for each battery if you don't buy the fast charger for 50 euros. I recommend it if you want a clean house all the time and clean mattresses, sofas, and of course, if you have pets.
