Fair product. I can't say I'm crazy about it, but generally there isn't much variety in pill cutters. The opening is quite large and clearly accommodates many pill sizes. When it comes to simply cutting a pill in half and the pill has score marks only in the middle, then everything is perfect. However, when it comes to cutting a pill into quarters, that's when things get difficult. It requires quite fast and abrupt movements, otherwise the parts are cut unevenly. You have to place the pill in a specific spot, bring the "razor" on top of it, and then cut it abruptly. Due to habit, it doesn't bother me anymore. But definitely, for a larger person, don't assume that they will be able to do it correctly on their own. As for grinding, I can say that it does it with great precision and quite well.
