The Monstera "Monkey Mask" has recently been dominating the decoration of our interior spaces. It features unique leaves with a dark green color and several holes on their surface, hanging downwards, giving them the most "bizarre" and impressive appearance. Ideal in the category of hanging plants.

Care Instructions

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, but will tolerate moderate shade. Avoid direct sunlight, but in very dark conditions, its growth slows down.
• Water: Water it when the soil in the top few cm starts to dry out. In winter, reduce the amount and frequency of water you provide and allow it to dry out between waterings. Excess moisture can cause the trunk and root system to rot.
• Temperature: Normal indoor temperatures of 16-24 °C, and always above 12 °C.
• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity levels. It cannot handle dry air conditions. Increase humidity in the space by misting its foliage in the morning if necessary.
• Fertilization: Apply fertilizer suitable for green plants during the growing season.
• Growing Medium/Repotting: Repot it every 2-3 years using good quality indoor plant substrate, adding perlite for better water drainage.
• Care Tips: The holes on the leaf surface are normal.
• Height and Growth Rate: Its maximum height can reach 1 m. It is a slow-growing plant, but its growth accelerates under ideal conditions.
• Toxicity: The leaves are toxic if ingested, keep it away from pets and children.
