The Precise P20ix flashlight by NiteCore perfectly combines operational features and technology, incorporating 4 x LED CREE XP-L2 V6 with a maximum output of 4000 Lumens, 2nd generation direct STROBE lighting technology, and is powered by an improved 21700 battery. With the four LED CREE XP-L2 V6, the P20ix has a maximum lighting power of 4000 Lumens, with a maximum distance of 221 meters and a maximum beam intensity reaching 12200 candles. It is ideal for security forces, search, rescue, and patrols.

Durable Construction

It is made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and features military-grade HAIII hard-anodized finish. Additionally, it has a lens with anti-scratch coating on both sides, making it highly resistant to drops from up to 2 meters in height.

Power Supply

The flashlight is rechargeable with a USB-C port and fully charges its battery in approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes. The package includes a high-capacity Li-ion battery NL2150i / 5000mAh. Additionally, it is compatible and can also operate with two CR123 batteries. Furthermore, it features an indicator light next to the charging port that shows the remaining battery power. The indicator light can display the battery voltage with an accuracy of +/-0.1V.

High Durability

The integrated ATR technology adjusts the lighting intensity of the Precise P20ix according to the temperature, operating conditions, and surrounding environment to maintain optimal performance. The flashlight is rated IP68 and can be used in all weather conditions, for example, at a depth of 2 meters or drops from up to 2 meters in height. Additionally, it has an exceptionally long operating time that reaches up to 350 hours, a total usage of 14 days on very low lighting.

I had bought it years ago, falling into the trap of high lumens myself. Back then, I didn't know that high lumens only eat up the battery and burn the hand holding the flashlight. This flashlight can be useful for someone who works outdoors (e.g. livestock farmer, prison guard, etc.) because it illuminates a large radius, but in any other case, it is just another product of effective marketing and should not be used in enclosed spaces or residential areas.

Be careful not to play with the flashlight in a closed space because even the reflection on a mirror or white surfaces can cause damage to your vision. The flashlight at 88 euros that I managed to purchase was the best choice in terms of quality-price ratio.

Its performance is outstanding. Truly, it turns night into day. Already from the second intensity level, you can't even see it. The turbo mode is fantastic. Yes, it's not for extended periods, yes, it generates heat, but it does what it needs to do for as long as it needs to, without causing any anxiety. It is a flood-type flashlight, not a laser, so you won't see a light beam.

Charging via type-c. It doesn't get any easier, directly into a port on the flashlight's body. I use it for airsoft (blinding in strobe mode) and for general use at work, especially at night in dark environments, on the second or third intensity level.

Nitecore warranty. Awesome support and spare parts.

Coming from a simple 300 lumens flashlight, I expected this particular flashlight to be amazing. Very good design, construction material. Even on high, it is very powerful, of course on turbo (4000 lumens) it turns night into day.
Also, the strobe is amazing for self-defense situations, I looked at it from a distance in a mirror for a fraction of a second and I saw stars for about a quarter, really very useful and effective for dangerous situations.
So far, the only thing that concerns me, but maybe it has to do with the fact that it is summer and there are high temperatures, is that it heats up relatively faster than I would expect, but because I don't have previous experience with tactical flashlights, maybe it is normal.
