Because I couldn't remember where I had put the box and I wanted to use it on Win10, I found the following solution to make it work.

(For those of you who don't recognize it or are told that the drivers are missing)
If you don't have an internet connection, connect your mobile to the computer with its cable and enable USB tethering from the USB options and open the internet from your mobile.

I found drivers from the OFFICIAL website of Dlink Technical support. Enter the name DWA-131 and it tells you to select the revision. It worked for me with E. It may take a while to download due to their slow speed.

edit: It disconnects once a day

Connected to Windows 10 and was not recognized as plug n' play! I installed the drivers from the accompanying CD and it worked immediately! Because I have had various experiences with similar products, I decided to go with D-Link and so far it has not disappointed me nor have I encountered any of the negatives that I read in the reviews of other consumers. I will give it a 5-star rating when I test it with a hidden wifi SSID, as most of them lose connection and cannot find neighboring networks, especially after a restart. I will come back with an update. First impressions are positive!

Through the drivers - software, it enables the ability to create a hotspot on the computer it is connected to and share internet.
And YES, it works normally even with a hidden SSID after suspending the PC, shutting down, and restarting without needing to re-enter the SSID name or wifi password, and it continues to detect neighboring networks!

Many disconnections and sometimes it is not recognized by Windows after startup. I need to remove the stick, reconnect it to the USB again, and manually connect to the network.
I have had it for 2 years, and it has been doing this for the last semester. Maybe it has reached the end of its life.
However, when it works, it is satisfactory.

When it works properly, it achieves satisfactory speeds. The problem is that it hardly ever works correctly, constantly disconnects, and its speed is inconsistent. I had to move the modem to another room and it still does the same thing. It's better to choose something that will work to save your nerves.

Cheap but frequently disconnects and shows a "normal indication" of connection!! We even updated the software, but still nothing. Definitely returning it to the store (which shouldn't be selling it in the first place). Last attempt: we brought the wireless modem from 10m distance to 4m and the situation improved, but the interruptions still persist and I insist: look for something else, maybe more expensive but more reliable.

It does its job as it should...
Ideal for a PC that simply needs network access and nothing more.

It is not plug and play like all usb sticks and requires driver installation. I tried it on various PCs with windows 10, xp, linux ubuntu 16.04 and it doesn't work anywhere. The company's support (China) does not respond. 100% USELESS product.

Owner here for a year now on desktop, works PERFECTLY on Ubuntu 16.04 (or newer) plug n' play. Very good range and performance while the central unit is located far from the router.

Excellent product, it provides good connection and signal despite its small size. It picks up networks from the opposite building (on a main road) with a 76% signal, so I assume the receiver is very good. I recommend it.
