If this specific one is indeed version 1, it does NOT have a Windows 10/11 driver from the manufacturer, nor do Windows download their own, but the Windows 8 driver works just fine on Windows 10, which I have tested.

It is not version 1 as it claims, as it has a different chipset from version 1. If you do an lsusb via Linux, it is not the Atheros chipset that version 1 should have, so it is not compatible with monitoring mode

Very good product. There are no disconnections and its range is great. The router is two rooms away and the antenna works perfectly. It is just what I needed and affordable.

Personally, I have had the adapter since 2012. I have tested it on many different computers (laptops, desktops) and operating systems. Truly, it is plug and play on all of them, except for Windows 10 where it takes a little effort to find the drivers. The range and speed are very good for its price, which back then I had bought it for 20 Euros.

I have had it for two years and it is completely useless. At first, I thought it was because I was far away from the router. It disconnects very often. Sometimes it goes full speed for hours and sometimes it doesn't increase the speed even though it is properly connected. Lately, my PC freezes at startup (BIOS) and as soon as I disconnect the USB port, the PC starts.

It takes a little effort for Windows 10. There are some tutorials on YouTube. I wouldn't say it's amazing.

One of the worst products I have purchased. Poor reception and constantly disconnects even in strong signal areas (on operating systems winxp, 7, 8 with the latest drivers from the company's website).
In Win Xp, it crashes constantly with a blue screen when you press disconnect!!!

I have been using it on Win 10 for two years. I have replaced the stock antenna with a larger one (13 dpi). Unfortunately, there is no suitable driver for Win 10. There are no drivers for Windows 10. After manual installation, the windows did not work and I had to uninstall it.

Ideal for those who use Kali, it works perfectly with reaver as if you have alfa networks at 1/3 of the price and you can use any antenna you want!

And with openSUSE Leap or Tumbleweed or Debian, it works great for everyday use.

I don't know how it goes for Windows fans, it would be good for them to change the operating system.

Excellent adapter. Distance from the router about 5-6 meters with one wall and a wardrobe (if it is caught) with full signal 5/5. Easy installation with the disc included in the package.

Easy installation but frequent disconnections. When the computer goes into sleep mode, I completely lose the connection and have to restart.

I have bought it more than 3 times for various machines and also for relatives... the product is awesome at an exceptional and always affordable price (it also has the extra feature that the antenna is detachable) so you can attach any aftermarket antenna you want with more dbi (the factory one is at 4dbi) I have installed an 8dbi one and it really performs... as for those who have Windows 8.1 or 10, the drivers are the same... meaning you can get the drivers for 8.1 from the official website and manually install the files through device management in the control panel... (100% tested on Windows 10)

For its price, it is the best, good signal and it doesn't lag on the internet. I can even catch a signal from my neighbor on the floor above and it works great.
