    The base is awesome. It is one of the few bases that does not charge your phone when you place it on the base wirelessly, which I don't want because it damages my battery by constantly charging and discharging when I talk in the car. It has an automatic system that opens and closes with infrared when you touch your phone to it. It charges with solar power for the opening and closing of the hook. Overall, it is the most advanced base for a car on the market right now, in my opinion. The only problem I have noticed is that many times, even when you don't have your phone inside, it can remain closed while the hooks are open, so you have to press the button on the back to reset it to the open position and touch your phone again to close it.

    It says wireless charging but this refers to the fact that it can be charged either by cable or by the sun and then without the need for the cable to be connected, it opens and closes the hooks to hold and release the phone.

    In no case does it wirelessly charge the phone whether it is connected or not with the cable.

    So its value for money is excessive. VFM=0
