It fits perfectly on the Matepad 11. It has a notch for the camera, supports a slot for the pen/m-pencil (magnetically attaches to the tablet. The case has a designated space for it) and the tablet "recognizes" (via magnets) when you open the case to activate the tablet's screen and when you close it to deactivate it.

In no way is it a protective case against drops. It is rigid with a faux leather finish without any other protective features (in case of a horizontal drop, it will protect the screen. In case of a vertical drop, it may save it from damage but it is unlikely that the tablet's chassis won't get hit).

Also, if you are thinking of fitting a thin Bluetooth keyboard to have everything in one case, forget it. It is not a soft case nor does it have such a gap between the cover and the screen (fortunately!)

Lastly, regarding its ability to be used as a stand, it is nothing special. Like many other similar cases, the front cover folds like a triangle on the back and the tablet is adequately supported in this unique angle that is formed (approximately 60 degrees).

Overall, it is a decent product for its cost and it fits perfectly with this specific tablet. I recommend it to those who want a simple book-style carrying/protective case. Personally, I am satisfied with the purchase.
