Description

The guitars of the LTD EC-1000 series are designed to provide the sound, feel, appearance, and quality that professional musicians need in an instrument.

The EC-1000FM features all the aristocratic features of the LTD Deluxe that set it apart from the other guitars in its series, such as the abalone inlays and purfling, the full body, neck, and headstock binding, and the classic passive Seymour Duncan JB/'59 pickups.

It is primarily aimed at musicians who play genres such as rock, metal, and heavy metal. It is suitable for those looking for a quality guitar for professional use, for musical bands, or for use in a recording studio.

Single Cut Body Shape

The shape of the ESP electric guitar is a single cut with a rounded shape that offers warm, bassy sound with great sustain on the notes. The single cut shape has only one cutaway, meaning a notch at the top of the body that allows access to the higher notes of the fretboard.

Body and neck construction made of mahogany

The mahogany wood it features offers a rich, warm, and deep sound, with strong bass and good mid and high frequencies. This sound is suitable for many music styles, such as rock, blues, jazz, and heavy metal.

Seymour Duncan '59

The '59 pickup in the neck position is one of the most popular pickups because it is versatile.

It is designed in the spirit of the original 1950s P.A.F. humbuckers, with sweet sustain and full, clean tone on the strings. However, ESP has made some improvements to slightly modernize the design and make it more adaptable to different styles.

Play the notes softly and the mid and high frequencies will seem to recede, play loudly and the notes will be confident and clear.

There is no genre of music that the '59 pickup cannot play.

The Humbucker Seymour Duncan JB at the bridge is the most popular of all time.

Blues, country, fusion, punk, hard rock, grunge, thrash, the Humbucker JB always sounded right, even when new musical genres emerged around it.

I have the first versions of the model/they cost about 1200 euros a few years ago and were made in Korea. It is a (at least) value-for-money instrument. Maple top (not veneer), Indian rosewood fingerboard with flag inlays (pearl), orange sunburst color (very good work). Seymour Duncan Hot-rodded pickups [JB (B) / '59 (N)] and Sperzel locking tuners. The electronics are decent (switch, potentiometers, and cables) without noise, etc. (If something goes wrong, simply replace it with an American CTS or Bourns). The feel of the fingerboard is incredibly comfortable. In short, an all-around instrument that can play everything (I jam from blues to heavy metal). I have used it live and for recordings. In my opinion, compared to other instruments of the same price range, it is very decent. If it had a different brand on the headstock (e.g. Gibson or PRS), it would cost at least twice as much. The newer versions are made in Indonesia as far as I know and have similar characteristics, but the prices are significantly lower. I don't know much about them as I haven't played them, but I think they are not lacking in quality as this particular model is considered the deluxe of the EC series (or 1000 and 1001).
