I had this keyboard on my list of keyboards to buy because my old one started to malfunction. At some point, I saw it on sale at a store for €28.90 and obviously bought it without a second thought.
----- Feel:
It is a fairly heavy and sturdy keyboard. Its keys are incredible and the red otaku switches are literally the sweet spot because they are mechanical without necessarily sounding like a typewriter (as it happens with the blue switches). The keys can be heard, but this is expected. If you don't want sound, go for a membrane keyboard and avoid the word "mechanical".
----- Button removal:
The buttons come off easily for cleaning. I haven't tried removing the switches and I don't even know if they can be removed.
----- Responsiveness:
It is a very fast keyboard with great sensitivity in the keys. You don't need to press the key all the way down to register it, which makes it great for gaming. On the other hand, because it is very sensitive, there is a chance of pressing the wrong buttons, especially when typing text, because as soon as you touch a button, even accidentally, it might register a click and you end up making more mistakes while typing. Until I got used to it, I made a lot of mistakes, but after some time, I became more careful in fast typing (let's say it trained me to be more precise in what I press).
----- Hand rest:
The hand rest is quite ergonomic, nothing special, but you can remove it if you want. Just turn the keyboard upside down and unscrew it.
----- RGB:
It has several preset colors, some static and several that blink. It also has a completely off mode, but the downside of the completely off mode is that the letters are barely visible. You can download the application from the website and individually set the color you want for each button and save them as presets, so you can easily change the lighting according to the layout you want.
----- Macros:
Here I will disappoint you, although it has macro commands, unfortunately, they suffer from some glitches. I won't go into much detail, but in an MMORPG game, when I set it to press a button and spam it as long as I hold it down, it also sent the adjacent keys (if I set it to continuously send the "6" button, it would send "6" three times and "5" once, and this happens with any key I set as a macro command, I don't know what the problem is). Also, creating a macro command in the application is relatively difficult, you can't manually assign the buttons and set the delays between them, you press "record" and press the buttons in the order you want them, anyway, it doesn't have a good editor.
Of course, I'm not so interested in macro commands because even though I play games, I didn't buy it for that purpose. At some point, I will get a regular gaming keypad for games where macro commands are essential.
----- Overall:
I like it, even at €40, it is worth the money, I got it much cheaper so it's even more value for money. I haven't had it for a long time to know how it holds up over time, but it seems well-made and sturdy. I didn't look into whether the switches can be replaced, if they can, it will last forever. The next keyboard I will get will have tactile switches so that the button press is less sensitive and there is no chance of making mistakes while typing.
