The color of it is beige and has nothing to do with the photo.
The big negative, however, is that it does not protect the camera's lens as the silicone is thinner than the lens thickness.
The only positive thing is that the loops for the cord are an extension of the silicone, so you don't have to worry about the ring falling off.
