Owner of a Samsung phone and I always choose headphones from the same company. I switched from the Buds+ to the Buds 2 and this review is mainly for people who follow Samsung and especially those who are thinking of upgrading from the Buds+.
I have had them for about ten days and so far my conclusions are as follows:
- Immediately you realize that they are much more comfortable than the +. The fit in the ear is much better.
- They are lighter.
The above significantly contribute to not getting tired from prolonged use and not feeling "burdened" by what you have in your ears.
- Active noise cancellation (ANC): I haven't exactly figured out if it does the job while using it (it's a bit difficult to notice the absence of sound), but overall there is noise isolation from external noises. I don't know how good it is compared to others. If I understand it, I will write about it in the future. However, don't expect to put them on and be 100% isolated from the environment (maybe only if the volume is [almost] maximum).
- Battery: I have charged them once in 10 days with moderate use, and from videos I have seen, the case provides 5 charges and lasts about 22 hours in total, if ANC is on. Very satisfied.
- Working from home: unlike the buds+, I no longer hear the sounds from my keyboard while on calls (I had specific complaints about the keyboard) and it generally filters out all sounds except for the voice. I am very satisfied.
- Volume: I don't need to listen at "red" levels while on the go, like with the +, maybe it's because of the ANC, maybe because of a better fit in the ear and therefore better noise isolation. Anyway, I see it as improved.
- Connectivity: It seems that I connect even faster to my Samsung phone (S20+) than with the +, which was already fast. The good thing is that now it doesn't kick me out when I'm on a call on Messenger and someone calls me on my regular mobile number. Maybe this was fixed with a general update and not specifically with the new headphones, but I no longer have such issues and I feel much more confident that the headphones will stay connected compared to the +.
- Appearance: they are much nicer than in the picture, which doesn't do them justice. I have the black ones with a white case, and as you can see in the photo, it's not matte black like in the picture, but glossy black.
*The headphones "lock" in the case through a magnet that pulls them and stabilizes them.
Evaluation question: are they worth the 90-100 euros they are currently being sold for?
This is personally up to each individual: if you won't miss them and you have a Samsung phone, then yes, they are worth 100%. If you are the type of person who doesn't care about the brand and is looking for something more economical, maybe it's too much. However, I will say that Samsung's service is impeccable, they replaced the + for free twice, even though they had broken due to my own mistake (which of course I didn't reveal).
I could give it 4 stars because of the price and the fact that 5 is perfect, but since I have no complaints and I enjoy using them, I think there is no reason. I will try to update the review in the future.
UPDATE on ANC:
It does the job when there is a constant background noise because it balances it out with wave contribution and you stop hearing it. If the external sounds are momentary and irregular, it obviously can't do anything. However, in the office or on the plane, for example, you can feel the isolation by activating it.
Unfortunately, even though I'm a Samsung fanatic, they failed miserably here. From the beginning, they said they couldn't hear me well, with interruptions and as if they were listening to my voice electronically. Essentially, many times I had to take them off and talk on the phone. I waited for updates to see if the problem would be fixed, but nothing even though many updates have been released. Additionally, after 1 year, the left earbud has minimal volume and I will have to send them for warranty. I will come back. Generally, STAY AWAY!!! Get something else!
Eventually, they replaced both of them under warranty and we are waiting for when the problem will occur again, of course, because the issue is obviously general. I just hope they have fixed the batch problem and the replacement was with the correct earbuds.
Completely useless for communication, they don't even listen to you for fun. The reviewers must have received a good package to advertise them. Other than that, yes, incredible connectivity with the Samsung ecosystem, very good as earplugs at concerts with the mode to hear the sounds of your surroundings.
The time has come to part ways with the galaxy buds+ which I honored and they honored me for about 4 years. The reason was not the quality but the fact that they now cost as much as 2 bottles at Argyro.
So yesterday I received the galaxy buds2. I will talk a lot about ergonomics because it is something you wear on you.
ERGONOMICS 101
These are not headphones that allow you to handle them carelessly because simply the buds+ are smaller with fewer friction points and slip out of your hand.
However, the fact that they are smaller has some advantages. On the one hand, they do not tire the ear, on the other hand, they do not need the external flaps of the buds+ to stay in place.
The charging case, although square, is smaller and does not bother. However, its size, the lack of a proper opening cut, and the glossy color do not allow me to open them with one hand, losing all the essence of "hands-free". I feel that they were created either to be constantly on you or to make you buy a smartwatch where you can speak more freely until you put on the headphones.
Although I am not one of those who always have them in their ears, the pass-through microphone for external sounds is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the buds+ to the point where everything bothers me on me, these headphones I can endure without music for 1 hour or more.
SOUND: Their sound is greatly improved. In studio quality on Spotify at the highest volume, I felt the bass without muddiness, I heard the background voices as if I were there. I think they have done a tremendous job on this.
AUTONOMY:
It's not something I'm really interested in, so I won't talk about it.
UPDATE 2 WEEKS OF USE: Autonomy is officially terrible. It is not possible with half an hour of daily use for the phone or the case to reach 25% in 3 days. That's what the buds+ did after 3 years of use.
PRICE: At €100, it is a fair solution for a daily driver. Compared to the price of the buds+, they are undervalued and I would say VFM for those who want to stay in the Samsung ecosystem
They have been holding up very well for 2 years now. Music and calls without any problems. I don't wear them during workouts because they don't have an attachment to secure them to the ear and I don't want them to fall off.
The most terrible thing I have bought. I have sent them for replacement twice, but Samsung doesn't replace them. They repair them and that's it. I can hear well, but they can't hear me. I sound like I am in a well and my voice is distorted. I have had them for 14 months and they barely work for 5 minutes
First of all, the sound is very solid, clear, and rounded with a satisfying volume. The ANC does a very good job, and the ambient mode helps for anyone who wants to be aware of their surroundings while wearing them.
They have many useful features with the Galaxy Wear app, controls for everything, they connect literally in a second, and the battery lasts around 4x7 hours with the charges from the case. They also fit very comfortably, and they are so lightweight that they don't move at all, and there is no fear of them falling out of the ear. There is also no audio delay in videos, if you want to use them for movies/series.
(Sidenote, the headphones have a codec for higher quality sound, which unfortunately only works with Samsung mobiles and tablets. It doesn't mean that you are missing out on anything compared to other headphones at similar prices, but this bonus feature is only available this way.)
I bought them for 81 euros, and I almost feel like I stole from the store. I am very satisfied, and honestly, I believe that it is one of the most value for money purchases I have made. If you find them for up to 100 euros, I highly recommend them.
What can I say now, how many similar ones have I not bought!!! No comparison, it overturns everything, they fit perfectly with amazing sound!!!
The headphones fit perfectly in the ear without worrying that they might come out, fall off, or get lost, etc. However, some people may be bothered by the fact that if you're not using it but have it in your ear, you can hardly hear anything as if you're wearing earplugs. The connection with the mobile phone is immediate and it accepts many settings.
Very good quality headphones both in construction and in functions. The connection to the mobile phone is excellent. The battery is satisfactory. You can hear the interlocutor perfectly and they can hear you without any problem. It has an option for ambient noise cancellation. Very good if there is noise when you speak. Recommended 100%. No comparison to the headphones I had bought before and their price was affordable.
I have had them for 2 weeks, they work well but they don't stay in the ear. I changed the spare parts that it has in the box, I tried them all, but they still fall out at the slightest movement. I bought them for delivery with my motorcycle, not for running or the gym, and they still don't stay in the ear. So they are useless for the job I wanted them for, I wasted 90 euros.
The sound is a bit lacking in bass, overall they are better value for money than the Pro. They are ideal for use with Samsung devices, of course.

I have them for a few days now. For the time being, they are very good... good sound quality with clear sound. They fit well in the ear and are lightweight...
I have had these headphones for about 2 weeks now and they are amazing. I use them for music and gaming and they have impressed me. They have nice bass and powerful sound. The battery lasts a long time and I am generally satisfied. The only thing that concerns me is that after a while they start to fall off my ears a bit, but that is probably my fault. It doesn't bother me too much. Are they worth the 90€? Personally, I really liked them and I think they are worth it. Whether they are worth it depends on you and your needs.
I use them for running 2-3 times a week. The right one died after 14 months and the dealership wants 144 euros to fix it hahaha even my dog laughed when I told him. Unacceptable quality for Samsung.
Bad application.
Even after the service, the sound quality is unacceptable. It was fine for the first 3 months, but then the volume started to decrease, the right one being lower than the left, there are snows and a constant deafening beeping sound at random times.
I am a fan of Samsung but the same problem has started to appear with my galaxy buds live, even though I take care of and clean them meticulously.
In my next purchase, I will have to choose a different brand.
Well, these headphones are worth their money, especially at the price of 67 euros! Their sound is really good, the microphone is satisfactory, and they don't tire you even if you wear them for hours (of course, comfort may vary from user to user). Additionally, they connect instantly to any device!! I have nothing else to say. The best at this price.
User for about 4 months. Unfortunately, I expected better... Minus one star because their application for the ears is not good. And another minus because my conversation partners often complain that I don't sound clear. I 'tweaked' all possible settings but the problem was not fixed. For music, however, it's excellent, the best I've tried!
The sound quality is mediocre, unfortunately. They do tend to fall out of the ears more easily compared to other buds.
In odd news of the day: They were accidentally washed in the washing machine (by themselves, without the case) and nothing happened to them!!!
I have had them for over a year and they are awesome..they connect easily to my phone, tablet, and TV. The battery lasts a long time. Overall, they have been a lifesaver for me...
I bought them today (1-4-23), using my Samsung S22 ULTRA mobile phone and Samsung S6 tablet, they connected instantly as soon as I opened the case with my phone, automatically downloaded the latest update and ready to use!! The sound is INCREDIBLE, perfect bass and treble, and it's incredibly convenient that I can use them without having to reconnect every time I switch between my devices!!

I would like to say that the sound is AMAZING, both for music and movies on the phone and on the tablet (cosmote)!! As for external sound, if you activate the NOISE CONTROLS and select the ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION, then NO sound passes through from the environment. On the other hand, if you choose the AMBIENT SOUND, then YES, and depending on the "volume" you choose, ALL sounds pass through and are amplified!!

I would like to say that YES, I had to change the size of the silicone on the left (from medium to small), and that solved the problem for me.
Also, I would like to say that compared to the sound quality of the Creative Outlier Gold and JBL Live Pro2 that I have, there is NO comparison, even though they offer custom equalizer options. I would still choose the buds!! The only difference is the incredible battery life of the Creative!!
Finally, I highly recommend them to anyone who has a Samsung phone, but I cannot speak for other mobile phone brands.
The sound quality is mediocre and tragically bad in conversation. I sent them for service within my warranty and they replaced them with new ones, but they still remain tragically bad in conversation.
Great sound, endless battery life but...
They are not suitable for running, they fall out of the ear very easily (I had Creative ones before that fit perfectly and didn't fall out at all).
You have to push them to prevent them from falling out and when they lose contact, the music stops :(
Very good sound, with nice bass. They also seem to be very well-made, in terms of material quality. The battery is satisfactory for my needs.
The only negatives are:
- It doesn't fit perfectly in my ear (only one). Every 30 minutes I have to push it back into place. I tried all the sizes of rubber tips.
- The most annoying thing is that one of the earbuds plays very quietly. To fix it, you have to reset them in their case, holding down the touch button on both at the same time. And it doesn't always work on the first try.
If it weren't for the reset issue every few days, I would give them 5 stars, but it's quite annoying to want to go for a walk and spend 5 minutes doing continuous resets until it works properly.
Generally, it's great just like other galaxy buds I have, but in terms of construction compared to the galaxy buds +, it's more cheaply made and the person you're talking to can't hear you very well. That's why I don't know if they're worth the 80 euros... Battery and connectivity are fine.
Good sound, satisfactory application, very convenient to use if done on a Samsung device! Perhaps a bit expensive compared to what they offer!
In the past, I had various low-value bt headphones, ranging from 20-40€. I decided to switch to Samsung to improve the quality of my phone conversations. Guess what... They were the same, if not worse, than the cheaper ones I had before. The battery life was terrible, the case battery was also poor (considering the price), and to top it off, for the past month, the left earpiece hasn't had enough volume, making it difficult to hear phone calls or YouTube videos. After doing some research online, I found out that many people have had this problem. I'm waiting to get paid so I can buy a different brand of bt headphones and give these to my brother.
I have had these headphones for about 3.5 months and I am extremely satisfied with their performance. I use them daily and have not found any flaws. Prior to these, I had the iluv headphones and I can say that I am amazed by the sound quality of these, they are also great for running. It should also be noted that my phone is a Samsung and I can update the headphones from there, while when I use them with my iPad, the sound quality is not very good... I fully recommend them, they are the best for me.
Very nice headphones. I got the green/charcoal and they look really nice. Overall, the sound is really good and so is the battery! I recommend it!
I tried them while running and they don't fall out, they just need a little push inside after some time to readjust in the ear...
3 stars because the touch controls are terrible, the tap works 1 out of 10 times and they require a specific spot on the ear to work.
The sound quality is good and the active noise cancellation is satisfactory for their price, if the touch controls worked I would give them 4 stars.
UPDATE: After about 50% of battery, one earbud stops working (probably to save battery) and as the battery decreases, the Bluetooth strength also decreases resulting in sound interruptions even if it's in your pocket.
I use them with my Samsung phone and iPad. I highly recommend them to anyone with a Samsung phone! The sound is perfect! It's not comparable to the sound they give when I use them on my iPad. In conclusion, the best choice for those with a Samsung phone!
