NO 1 and 2 but 6 hard drives burned with it.
It burned 4 hard drives with the PSU connection and another 2 during the swaps until I figured out what happened.
I opened two hard drives and they were both damaged in the same spot on the circuit board.
I have submitted a request to thermaltake to investigate the issue in more detail in order to receive compensation for the HDDs, and I have already spoken with the store.
Free replacement or refund for a faulty product is standard, but I want to see what will happen with the replacement of the hard drives by the parent company now.
I have no opinion about the power supply because I happened to encounter a faulty one, but don't make the mistake I made in my haste to finish. Have an old 775 with a small HDD to test before connecting it to a machine.

Medium power supply since certifications are practically nonexistent. The biggest and most well-known certification is 80plus, which means that it's all about promises and nothing else. I got it for free from a friend who stopped using it, and I used it in different PC setups. After a few plug-ins and plug-outs, one pin broke and didn't make contact. I managed to fix it myself, but I also read that the cables become bent after a while. Other than that, fortunately, it hasn't burned anything. It's a large 730W power supply, so it has more than enough capacity. I wouldn't buy something so "cheap" and outdated again. If I upgrade the system I have, I will definitely change it!

We chose it because it was the only available branded power supply at that price. However, we were quite satisfied with its quality and features. The problem is that it is quite an old model now (it says "haswell ready" on the box). It offers fewer years of warranty compared to newer models from the same company, and the price increased by 5 euros as soon as we bought it...

I have it for 5 years. With AMD 1075T previously, Fx8350 the last 2 years (soon with Ryzen). Initially with Rx460 graphics card and lately with Rx480, while powering 4 HDDs, 1 DVD-R, additional sound card, and 5 case/CPU fans. I mainly use it for office work, with occasional demanding (for the processor and graphics card - hence increased power demand) gaming periods (weekends and vacations), until last year. Absolutely no issues. In fact, in 2020 I bought the equivalent of 530W (probably one of the latest on the market) for my daughter's PC.

I wear it on an HTPC with Q9400, 8GB DDR2, RX460, SSD, HDD, and 3 fans (as well as a fan controller).
It doesn't make any noise and has been very stable for the 2.5 years I've had it. I don't know if I would recommend it for gaming (since it's difficult to test something like that on an HTPC), but for the ~45€ I paid for it back then, it was a steal.
Additionally, it is semi modular, which is a must for building systems with limited space for cable management :)

I have it for 2 years on the 2nd computer I have at home and it performs great, it is neither noisy nor does it heat up too much. For its price, it is very good, it has quality construction and it shows from the packaging and its contents. At 50 euros, it is one of the best choices in the market and Thermaltake is reliable in power supplies!

With regular use and a bit of gaming, after the warranty expired, it short-circuited and smelled burnt. Unfortunately, it also burned the motherboard, RAM, and graphics card. In other words, there is no protection for the remaining computer components, with the damage exceeding 300 euros...

A shameful power supply that came with my backup disk with files from years ago! Its performance is measured at room temperature because if it reaches 40 degrees, then you will understand what plus 87 means, a nonexistent certification that was born in the thermaltake warehouse. Even its cables, if they take their shape and harden after 1-2 years, if you move them, they might lose contact. Unfortunately, Thermaltake no longer produces good power supplies like it did 5-10 years ago. I should have bought a turboX instead. The honest and cheap 600W from bequiet is far superior to this incapable power supply that is not worth a dime. Anyone who has a serious build and chooses this for an economical solution is like spitting on their machine.

It was installed when the AMD fx8350 was first released in late 2012 and worked for years with crossfire 2x R9 290x, etc. It started malfunctioning earlier this year in early 2019. Now it has been installed on a less power-hungry PC and still works.

I bought this specific power supply in November 2015. After about 2.5 years (summer 2018), the computer started rebooting during gaming, at random times. Specifically, it would shut down abruptly as if someone unplugged it from the socket, and then turn back on by itself. Gradually, the problem became worse, occurring more frequently and not just during gaming, but also during simple tasks. Strangely, it wouldn't shut down during benchmark tests. I tried booting from different drives, removing the graphics card, running a memory test for the RAM, but to no avail. After searching online, I found that the problem was likely due to either overheating or the power supply. There was definitely no overheating issue in the system, as I had checked the temperatures, so I bought a new power supply and the problem disappeared.

  • I was expecting slightly better quality in the cables, but overall it is very good for the price. The fan is the only thing that can be heard on my computer and it is quite audible because the unit is on the desk, maybe I got a faulty one because many people say it is silent.
    - 17/7/2020 Edit: I installed an Arctic F14 PWM PST CO 140mm fan and it finally became quiet.

It is too early to judge the power supply because I haven't had it for a week yet, but you can't find a thermaltake with bronze certification and 530w and semi modular for 53 euros anywhere! The cable management with the detachable cables was very easy! The noise is at satisfactory levels, almost silent. Something that surprised me, not that it bothers me, is that when I plug the power supply into the power, there is no light indicating that it is on!

I have now closed the time with this power supply, it is reliable, well-built, and not cheap like those of 20-30€. It has greatly reduced power consumption and has never caused any problems in my system: Ryzen 5 1400 OC at 3.9 GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB OC at 1973 CC and 8300 MC consistently, and Ram DDR4 OC at 3000 MHz also consistently. The power supply cables are all removable except for the 24-pin of the motherboard (semi modular), they are all flat and black, except for the red details on the power supply boards of the GPU. All of these provide the user with more convenience in cable management. The 140mm fan remains quiet even under full load conditions during gaming to the point where I had to check if it was working at all. I am very satisfied with this power supply even though it is somewhat overkill for my system, something I realized later on.

It is not a bad power supply.
However, for me, it has a very serious drawback, it makes a lot of noise. There is no provision for the fans not to operate when the computer is not under load, resulting in them constantly running at full speed. This is very annoying for some people, definitely for me, and that was the reason why I replaced it with the Corsair RM850x.

    Very good power supply
    Cheap and relatively good quality
    Semi Modular
    Approximately 80+ bronze
    Nice cables
    3-year warranty

It can handle an average gaming system but not for heavy use. Especially for graphics card side, I wouldn't recommend it for anything that requires 8pin and above (not even for the 630 model).
I consider it suitable for power requirements of cards like 1060.

I have used it in 4-5 systems and it hasn't presented any problems as I pair it with cards like 1050-1050ti and an i5 / Ryzen 5. People I know who used it with heavier systems (mainly graphics card) experienced issues, so I wouldn't recommend it.

In conclusion, one of the best budget power supplies with certifications, 3-year warranty, nice cables, modular, and cheap. I recommend it.

For simple use, it's fine, but if you want it for gaming, then stay away. Go for something with a 10-year warranty and better certification. This one won't do. It will crash your PC. It's not very reliable overall.

A small beast... on an AMD FX 8150 OC at 4.8 with a custom loop (the pump is greedy >10w), one HDD, one R7 370, and 4 DIMMs, it handles everything like a devil.
Silent to the point of disgust... first I could hear the power and then the fan. Also, it stays cool after hours of heavy use.
What I didn't like is that if I push the CPU or GPU, I notice a drop of 0.2-0.3 volts in the 12-volt supply, which drops but remains stable. This is from the power supply and not the cables as they have very low serial resistance. I highly recommend using LLC, even for a little more hardcore overclocking.
The 6-pin PCIe cables seemed a bit short to me and I couldn't connect the card to the first connector, but to the last one (a small voltage drop along the cable).
    9/10
