  If there were a lower rating, it wouldn't even deserve that. I got it in '21 with the Ryzen 3, 3rd generation and 8GB RAM. From the beginning, it was excessively lagging even in the simplest processes (We're talking the machine barely booted into Windows..) with black screens and continuous "hang-ups" in office applications. I had bought it for a different use that was heavier (I was running IDE programs) and assumed that was making it slow. Eventually, I gave it to my brother who needed it for university. It started off normally and he could do his work fine, but not even 3 months later it started the same issues (it was a new install with genuine Windows 10 Pro) and he could barely complete tasks in PowerPoint and PDF programs.

  Stay away from HP unless you are a company; their systems are only useful for businesses.

  Very good for its price.
  Positives: a) For its category and the use I make of it, it is fast.
  b) It also has an ETHERNET port (difficult to find in other products of this company).
  c) Elegant and beautiful.
  Negatives: a) The fan is loud, even with a simple update.
  b) It is available in Windows 10 S (but can easily be changed to 10 Home).
  c) It requires a power adapter (usually provided for free by the seller)

  Owner of this laptop for 1 month and I have to say the following: Excellent performance, multitasking, speeds for basic office tasks like Office, Word, PDFs. It can easily handle multiple open tabs in Chrome and open programs in the background without any problem.
  The keyboard is good, it hasn't caused me any issues at all. The touchpad is also good with multi-gesture mode, although the buttons are not of the best quality (but it's not something that bothers me particularly).
  It can be upgraded to Windows 11.
  The only problem I found is that the fan makes quite a loud noise during heavy usage. It doesn't reach high temperatures, but the fan can work quite loudly even with two open tabs in Chrome. Despite having 8GB of RAM, its usage is always at least 50%. (perhaps upgrading the RAM to 16GB will solve the "problem" with the fan).
  Overall, I am very satisfied because for its price, the specs are the best. Before buying it, I did market research on laptops up to 500 euros, and comparing the processors, this one beats them all in benchmarks (at this price range, of course).
  Plus, you can upgrade the RAM.
  A very good laptop for someone who needs it for office work, internet browsing, file editing, and movie watching. (It even handles FL Studio flawlessly!)
  When I upgrade the RAM, I will come back to update if the fan noise issue has improved.
  UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER
  After a year of use, the laptop has not presented any problems. It receives Windows updates normally and runs smoothly, etc. I think it is an excellent choice for its price (below 500 euros when I bought it) for simple use (office, browsing, and basic things)

  3rd HP laptop, I have been a fan of the company since 2005.
  I have only had it for one day (purchased on 21/10/21) but based on my experience so far, it has everything I need and fully covers basic use. Its setup was very fast, adding a good antivirus is the best possible choice with little money for home use and few office tasks. The operating system (Windows 10, what can we do, we will endure it ;) ) and the keyboard are in English. The first issue is solved immediately with a simple download of Greek language, while the second issue, if there is no familiarity with the keyboard, can be solved by purchasing and connecting a Greek keyboard.
  I use it with Wi-Fi (poor connection, not the PC's fault), but it doesn't lag.
  I don't use it for movies or games to have an opinion on graphics, but as far as I'm concerned, it is very good. It has an SSD drive and a classic i3 processor.
  Classic HP, reliable with a very nice feeling of a quality computer. The keyboard is metallic, chocolate type, which personally impressed me aesthetically. It has 2 classic USB ports and one type C, as well as HDMI and Bluetooth. Lightweight, slim, good battery life, and energy-saving capabilities. The only negative, and a very important one because I had a shock for a few minutes, is that the product code may imply that it is from the United States, which means that the power adapter is not suitable for our sockets. However, the store where I bought it (MG Manager) includes an adapter in the package on their own. So, we are fine. I didn't know about the differentiation in the product code, it is not mentioned anywhere in the specifications, and I didn't notice it when ordering somewhere, so... But everything is good. There is a solution.
  Regarding the pre-installed applications, it has Netflix, Spotify, Skype, etc., and Microsoft's applications (OneDrive, Cortana, Outlook, Store, etc.), which everyone uses or deactivates according to their preference. I don't use them, for example, OneDrive, I think it will burden it, but I don't have an opinion if someone chooses to have it permanently active.
  Personal opinion, disable Edge after installing Mozilla, deactivate/uninstall other user-unnecessary applications, and only use NOD32 for protection. Office is pre-installed, but to fully function, it requires a one-time purchase of Office 2021 or a subscription to Office 365 (€69/year for one user). You can work with Office web if you need something simple. Otherwise, the subscription is a one-way street since when Microsoft decides not to update it, it will create issues.
  That's all. Good choice, value for money.
