Basic CPU with a balance between price and performance when combined with a good motherboard and GPU (in my case a 1650). Even with its own cooler, it maintains relatively low temperatures during use with GTA and Fortnight.
MSI B550M Pro-VDH WIFI works perfectly. The only issue is that with the stock cooler and factory thermal paste, the temperature at idle fluctuates around 50°C and reaches 70°C during normal use. It will probably need an upgrade in cooling for gaming.
- 15/5/24: The factory thermal paste was removed and replaced with silver (compatible as it doesn't have copper on the base of the cooler), the temperature difference was huge, starting at 38°C and averaging at 49°C!
So anyone who chooses this processor should definitely consider changing the thermal paste.
If you don't want to buy a graphics card, this processor is for you. Its graphics are very nice and can play games at a satisfactory resolution. So far, it hasn't shown any problems.
The processor is very powerful and reliable. It runs DaVinci, Photoshop, Lightroom simultaneously, combined with 32GB RAM, Gigabyte 3060, 980Pro 1TB, and MOBO B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2. It renders a 4-minute video in 1. In some games I ran, it did not raise temperatures. There is good airflow, of course. I recommend it with closed eyes.
I am very satisfied with this CPU, it performs everything perfectly. Definitely, anyone who wants heavy gaming with high graphics will need a graphics card. If your budget is tight, you can buy it initially with some compromises in certain games and later add a GPU. Personally, I also gave it 8GB VRAM and it's better.

Temperatures at 60-70 while rendering
Very nice processor. Their temperatures are stable. I combined it with an RTX 3700 and the MSI b450m PRO VDH-MAX motherboard. For cooling, I used the Arctic Freezer eSports DUO with Thermal Grizzly thermal paste. It does exactly the job I want, running open windows and games simultaneously.
Better than expected, it plays most games comfortably without a graphics card and I could say that it reminds me of a GTX 1050 Ti in terms of graphics. The temperature with the fan it has reached up to 40-45 degrees, with extra cooling it stays at 40 and runs very well!
Well, I come from an Intel i5 7th generation that I had for 5 years (back then it cost 250 euros) and after a while it became unbearable, it would frequently freeze and reach 100% with the simplest task.
So I got this bad boy and I have to say that I see a big difference in speed and how it handles heavy applications/games. I use it for illustrator, photoshop, editing, web, movies, and gaming, not very light tasks especially when I combine some of them together. And I am very satisfied with its performance! And at a very low price! (230 on 10/1/23) Now it has dropped even more and it's even more worth it!!
I have to say that I have no idea about temperatures, measurements, etc., but I do know that for mid-range and at this price, switching from Intel was a one-way street and worth it! I am satisfied and the speed is noticeable. :D

The processor is not PCIE GEN4 X4 but 3. However, it doesn't matter. The only problem with this motherboard was that if I set the memory to 3600, the screen would turn off and the machine would freeze after 15 to 20 minutes. I solved it by lowering the speed to 3533. Even though I installed the latest BIOS, it didn't work at 3600. Other than that, it works great. It doesn't freeze anywhere.
I play Grand Theft Auto V without any crashes with much better graphics than the Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 OC.
I have installed 3 fans. Front 120, bottom 120, rear 90. I have them in silence mode.
The CPU comes with the fan that was included in the box. It has no temperature issues.
The motherboard came with BIOS 2.50, which works with all processors.
Also, please note that by installing an M2 disk, you immediately lose two SATA ports. This was one of the main reasons I chose it because it has 6 SATA ports.
After one month of use, I am satisfied with its performance considering its price (180€) and compared to the cooling fan it has. I have used it for games like Gta5, LoL, Fortnite, pubg with dual screen but I haven't tried the integrated graphics yet.
Many have written about this tool, we're talking about a very powerful one that you won't easily tire out.
It handles everything effortlessly, I recommend it 100%.
I got it for a small barebones and it works 24/7 because I have installed TrueNas on it.
At the moment, it is the permanent server that I run virtualization, containerized apps, and file sharing services without any issues.
Despite being in a super small case (asrock DeskMini X300) with minimal airflow except for its cooler, I had zero problems.
If you want to build a PC with integrated graphics, make sure to get high-speed RAM to utilize it better. I made the mistake of getting 3200MHz RAM and in games, I had: Apex Legends at 20-30fps, LoL at 80-160fps, and Valorant at 60-120-160fps. I'm waiting to get a 3060 at normal prices, so integrated graphics were my only option. The processor is generally good and works well for video and image editing without any issues. That's all for now.
I've been using the CPU for a month now. The only complaint I have is that compared to my previous CPU (i5 6500), it easily raises temperatures and in difficult phases, I have 100% load on all cores (+85 degrees Celsius), which seems quite strange to me (compared to Intel). Other than that, I have no issues with its performance. If I somehow solve these "issues," I will update the evaluation.
UPDATE: In the end, the temperature of 85 degrees Celsius that I was reading on CoreTemp refers to the temperature of the CPU package and not the CPU temperature. The CPU temperature, via the motherboard program at full performance, reaches a maximum of 75 degrees Celsius, which is quite good. (FYI: CPU package temp is +10 degrees Celsius higher than CPU temp). Finally, it was a very good upgrade from i5 6500, and in combination with the Gigabyte RTX 3060 12GB, it runs most games from CanYouRunIt (CYRI score min+rec 100%).
Kids, this processor is awesome, a beast. Incredibly fast, runs everything smoothly, low temperatures and the graphics are perfect (at least for integrated). Later on, when a graphics card is added, it will skyrocket. 5/5 without a second thought.
Excellent processor for those who want integrated graphics. However, it lacks PCI_e 4.0, which I would like it to have, as well as L3 cache at 16MB. After 4 months of heavy use, my conclusions are:
1. It runs everything without showing any signs of struggling.
2. The graphics subsystem is excellent for everything except heavy gaming. Adrenalin has crashed 2-3 times, but this is probably due to the collaboration with the motherboard (MSI A520M PRO).
3. The Wraith Stealth that comes with the processor is not for heavy use, although relatively quiet. Until I received the AM4 kit for a 7-year-old Noctua NH-U14S, I had to use the Wraith and see 85+ degrees in heavy multithreaded applications. With Noctua, I have never seen above 65.
For today (June 22), it is the best solution for someone who has demands from their computer and does not want to spend a lot of money on a discrete graphics card - to get something (slightly) better than the integrated subsystem, you will have to go to Quadro T400 at almost €200, which cannot be considered a gaming card.
Overall, excellent, worth every one of the 300+ € it costs.
I have had it for about 2 weeks. Initially, the use I make of it is photo editing & video editing/rendering.
I chose it even though I don't use the onboard card, as a backup in case something happens to the one I have.
The processor is a multitasking beast, especially in premiere pro & after effects. The photo I have attached is while it is simultaneously doing 4k rendering.
The maximum temperature I have seen is 68 degrees during rendering, idle it is 35-40 degrees.
I haven't dealt with overclocking, so I can't have an opinion.

I should note that the PC is currently bottlenecked due to the graphics card. I plan to install a 3060/3060ti in the near future (I'm not in a hurry as I don't play games, so I'm waiting for the best possible deal) + possibly another 32GB RAM.
I would recommend anyone who chooses it to go straight for custom cooling. Even with a budget liquid cooling like the one I have chosen, it is more than enough even for demanding use.
It was purchased for 308, which is definitely value for money, especially if someone wants to use the onboard card as well.
I see many reviews mentioning gaming and I would like to add something. Yes, it is capable for gaming but not with high settings and up to 1080 resolution. That means no shadows, no HD, no effects, no bloom, no particles, no filtering, etc. 720p won't cut it anywhere. But is that satisfactory? Otherwise, you play and see the wind blowing, the plants swaying, the raindrops falling, etc. You enjoy it differently with good graphics and with a few pixels walking. So don't talk big and people buy it and expect other things and see other things. Yes, it plays but how does it play... Also, on Windows 11 and above, we can now use both the APU and GPU simultaneously. This is a big advantage. We set everything in the APU and the game in the GPU. This will rest the GPU. We can easily trust this processor to do everything and the GPU only for gaming. But without a GPU, you can't play. Processors haven't reached this terrifying level yet.
An exceptional APU from AMD that is worth every last Euro! It practically has no competition and plays alone in its field.

Pros:
► 8 cores that are ideal for content creation, but also capable in gaming.
► The integrated Vega 8 plays practically all modern titles comfortably at 1080p, with minimal exceptions.
► Better performance than the GT 1030 that costs nearly 100€, with the ability for strong OC that increases performance by ~20%.
► Only 50€ more expensive than the 5600X, while offering 2 extra cores + integrated graphics. A good choice between the 5600X and 5800X if you want more cores.
► Very satisfactory RAM support and supports higher FCLK speeds if one wants to experiment.
► Unique in its kind, without having an exorbitant price.
Cons:
► The stock cooler is borderline insufficient. The CPU will literally and figuratively "breathe" with an aftermarket cooler at 35-40€. Relatively small and expected expense for a CPU of this category and price.
► Does not support PCI-E Gen 4.0, only Gen 3.0. Useless for most, as there would be no difference whether we're talking about storage or GPU, WITH ONE IMPORTANT EXCEPTION:
The "famous" AMD RX 6500XT, if running on PCI-E Gen 3, due to (excessively) poor design, performs roughly like an RX 570 from 2017... because it practically has bus speeds similar to PCI-E Gen 1 x16. Happy 2004, we said?
In simpler terms, get any GPU you want except for this specific one with this APU.
With the help of my mom, I overclock my computer using a special cooler. However, even with a clocked processor, I don't go crazy with games. Sometimes, the noise from the cooler can be annoying, so I plan to get a new one soon. Overall, it's not a great value for money.
It was purchased due to its integrated graphics and its 8 cores. Its main use is programming (large compiles, multi-threaded applications, etc.).
Positives:
So far, the performance is top-notch. It reaches 4.3 GHz on all cores and is capable of maintaining it even at high temperatures (more on this below). It has been paired with an Asus ROG Strix B550-E Gaming, 16GB 3200MHz RAM, and an M.2 SSD. The motherboard is overkill for the power draw of this processor, so there were no issues from that side. In many cases where it needed to operate for 30+ minutes at 100% on all cores simultaneously with other tasks, the PC showed no signs of lag. It's truly a beast. A parenthesis here for those who don't need so many cores: I would recommend looking at the Ryzen 5 5600G, which is the "little brother" of this one.
Negatives:
The cooler that comes with the processor is downright unacceptable. You might say, "You spent 300+ euros on a processor, spend 30 euros and get an aftermarket cooler," and that was the plan from the beginning, but for some reason, I had to work with the stock cooler for a few months. Initially, it makes a lot of noise. Even inside the Corsair 5000D, which has some sound insulation and good airflow, it can be heard. Performance-wise, it's more of the same. In a compile that took 45 minutes at 100% on all cores, it reached 89 degrees. To my surprise, it didn't thermal throttle, and from start to finish, it operated at 4.3 GHz. I should note that the room temperature was relatively low, around 20 degrees, so I don't expect anything similar in the summer. Finally, it doesn't support PCIE 4.0, even though it's a 5th generation processor. It doesn't affect me personally, I'm just stating it as a fact.
General comments:
A very good processor. Anyone who needs the cores for gaming or work won't be disappointed. It's highly recommended, just do the obvious and budget for a good cooler from the start so you don't end up like me.
I come from the 3400g so I saw a big difference.
The reason I bought it is for video editing and some gaming. I use davinci resolve for the videos I upload to YouTube, and I shoot 4K 60 frames. Take a look at the photo, which is when I export the video, everything is fine but the cpu has a very high temperature. For games, I don't know much but in general, you can play almost everything but with compromises, meaning 1080 and graphics on medium.
Unfortunately, graphics cards are unaffordable, I hope to add them to my system someday.
Now that graphics cards are expensive, the 5700G is a perfect choice for someone who wants to perform heavy tasks but also play their games on low to medium graphics.

Because I know that this interests many people, in 1080p video editing, whether for personal videos or for uploading to YouTube using DaVinci Resolve 17.4.1, color corrections, motion effects, audio effects, etc., it renders a 10-minute video in just 3:20 and the workflow is quite smooth. I believe it can handle more complex editing or 4k editing quite well, but it perfectly covers the needs of an average user.
Now, I'm not a hardcore gamer, but with all the extra optimizations and mods available for Assetto Corsa racing simulator, with Anisotropic filtering 2x MSAA 2x 1080p high settings and some other settings at maximum, I get 54-63fps with AMDFidelityFX super resolution enabled on ultra. At 1440p with medium settings, Anisotropic filtering 2x MSAA 2x, I get 34-40fps.
What can I say? After 9 years since I last built my computer, the difference seems like night and day. Everything happens lightning fast, it's quiet, and during idle and light tasks, temperatures range from 29-34 degrees with the stock cooler during this season with room temperature at 21 degrees, but I also have 6 fans in the case, 3 intake and 3 exhaust. I don't know about summer. For older games that I play, the integrated graphics cover my needs perfectly, and I believe it is satisfactory even for more modern games with some compromises, of course. Later, if graphics cards become more affordable, I might get one.
