A complete color set (24 colors) with Talens quality! The replacement plates are a bit expensive.

I have bought Van Gogh watercolors many times and I was very satisfied. This time, it seems like they have "dried out" and don't "come to life" easily. Maybe the store had them for a long time. That's why I gave them 4 stars, because their performance is not like the other times.

Maybe one of the best choices either as a gift or for someone who is involved, or for a professional (to check some colors if they change with sunlight) BUT at the price of €21 that I bought it, it is one of the best on the market. Their size is approximately an A6 sketchbook.

Nice watercolor set for beginners who want an affordable product with good performance, it is worth getting the case with the 15 (12+3) colors instead of the 12-case, as it has additional shades and space to put pans.

The blues, greens, yellows, pink, and ochre are excellent in shade and performance, I was disappointed with the reds and browns, which are very "chalky", they do not paint well, they end up on paper like water with color particles, meaning they are not easy to work with. Maybe this was a problem with the specific batch I bought. The white color is not very useful, as in watercolor you can simply dilute the paint with water for more subtle results. It would be better to have a purple/magenta instead.

The set also comes with a Van Gogh brush size 6, which is very good. The case has spaces for dilution with water and mixing colors, of course, the material is plastic and for this reason, it is not ideal for these purposes (ceramic/porcelain is better for watercolor palettes), but it does the job just fine.

I believe it has more cubes than necessary as many are very similar.
