  Now let's see the negatives. Imagine that with this money, what you're essentially buying is a 50 euro tablet (meaning the worst you can get), just in 43 inches.

  The processor is simply tragic and can't do the simplest things without freezing. You can't even change channels. Unbelievable lag every time you switch channels - it takes about 5 seconds for the sound to sync with the image.
  The built-in receiver is terrible. It couldn't pick up the national channels. I took it back to the store and they couldn't tune it there either (all the other ones they had on the shelf were working fine).

  The first video I tried to play on YouTube, as soon as I tried to fast forward it a bit, it froze and wouldn't unfreeze no matter what - I had to unplug it.

  Yes, Android has many things inside.... Netflix, YouTube, ERTflix, etc..... but what's the use? You don't buy a tablet.... for a TV, you pay for it and it can't do the basics. In general, it freezes a lot within Android.

  The media player? Better leave it......

  Luckily they accepted it back at the store, I paid 20 euros more (370 instead of 350 that I had bought it for) and got a Panasonic and I was saved. Perfect picture and sound, flawless functionality without any freezes. It may not have Google Assistant and voice searches, etc.... but do the ones that have them work?

  With 350 euros or even 500, don't expect to get an Android TV that works properly, when there are models of 1000 and above that still freeze.

  Purchase on 10/1/2022. I will come back if I see something in the future. I have been buying Philips for years and what I have noticed is that they have a fairly long lifespan compared to the competition, which in my opinion is a big advantage. I don't know how this one will turn out, but everything I had still worked without any burnt pixels, etc. Two years ago, I bought a 50-inch Samsung TU series for my parents and I can make a comparison between them. Firstly, both have a VA panel with all that it entails. So, if you go for Philips, which is slightly cheaper, with a budget of 400 euros, for example, there is no reason to go for Samsung or LG when what you are looking for is excessively reliable. The picture on HD channels is amazing, and I sit at a distance of about 2 meters. No pixelation. I tried Netflix in 4K, it's amazing. The sound is good, but everyone nowadays has a soundbar. I tried the PS4, it works at 60Hz with HDR in full HD and I generally liked it, but I know what I'm looking for. We can't always chase the best in technology because I imagine the PS5 with HDMI 2.1 on a suitable screen will be great. But I'm not going to invest in a screen that I will only use twice a year! Also, I like that Philips clearly emphasizes on its website that it supports HEVC 265, which I appreciate, and it annoys me that most others don't mention it. For me, if you want to buy a TV like the Samsung AU7000, AU8000, AU9000, or LG equivalents, it's good to buy this one. You will save 100 euros and get a great TV. Don't just focus on the marketing and how each one launches their product and its innovation. The suppliers of components are more or less the same in most things. The purchase was for a 43-inch 4K TV. I will come back if I see something strange.

  I have had the television for about 1 month now. It has everything it promises (4K & android apps), and besides that, it is a very high-quality construction with very good and powerful sound. So far, I haven't encountered any problems and I am completely satisfied. I recommend it!!

  Update: The android, after about a year, started to lag a lot for me because, as the specialist told me, it has a very poor processor, which is expected for a low-budget television.

  Update 2: Having purchased the television from January 2022 until June 2024, I have to say that the lags are even more now, to the point where it kicks me out of YouTube for no reason. Of course, considering the price I got it for, I can't complain much since it is a low-budget television. Just keep in mind that as time goes on, it will lag more and more (personally, it started for me after about a year)
