We have been very satisfied!! We are 2 people and we prepare the whole meal at the same time without waiting for the chicken to be done first and then the potatoes, for example. For about 6-7 months, we were using a 2.5-liter capacity air fryer, which was good as a device, but too small for everyday use for 2 people. The choice to go for something bigger was really worth it.
It has some suggested programs, but you can try and experiment with temperature and time accordingly. It also depends on the quantity and how frozen the ingredients you put inside are. For example, I have put burgers straight from the freezer and they cooked perfectly in about 20 minutes at 180 degrees. It makes anything frozen perfect (potatoes, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, pizzas, pies, and generally croquettes, etc.) with a crispy result in about 10 minutes and without needing much cleaning.
If you put fresh meat (I have tried chicken wings, chicken breasts, a whole chicken, burgers, steaks, and bacon), it makes them really perfect, but they leave a lot of fat on the grill and in the basket. After it cools down a bit and the oil is no longer hot, I wipe it off with a paper towel and throw it in the trash so that the oil doesn't end up in the sink, and then I fill it with hot water and let the fats soften for a bit. Then it cleans relatively easily.
The most amazing thing I have done so far in the air fryer is boiled eggs! Generally, you can find various recipes and ideas on the internet, but this with the eggs excited me because I could never achieve exactly the eggs I liked! The whites should be firm, but the yolk should remain orange and almost runny. And now in the air fryer, I achieve them exactly like that every time! I put the eggs straight from the fridge on the grill and set it for 10 minutes at 135 degrees. As soon as they are done, I put them directly in a bowl with cold water and ice to stop the cooking process, and then they clean very easily!
I highly recommend it! It has been a lifesaver for me! I use it almost every day, it consumes much less than the oven, and it cooks everything much much faster!

After just 3 uses, the handle broke.
Without doing anything. As my wife was taking out the trash, the handle stayed in her hand and the bin fell down! There was a small frying pan of potatoes inside. And in the previous two uses, we had put very few potatoes because we were testing how it works.

Did you find this review helpful?I have had it for 2 years and will soon be buying my third one. I use it almost daily for various foods, such as meat, fish, potatoes, and I have even baked an egg inside (on parchment paper).
As for the device, it is well-built and durable, the cooking is good but usually requires a little more time than the preset programs, depending on the thickness of the food. The 6-liter basket can barely fit food for two people (e.g. two chicken breasts weighing 180-230g and potatoes weighing 500-600g), in order for the cooking to be done properly and not have half of it undercooked. I don't consider this a negative, but rather a warning for buyers.
Overall, I am satisfied and consider it a purchase that is worth its price and more.Now, onto the negatives, the basket and the grill have peeled off in a very short period of time (without using a rough sponge or wire), resulting in me having to permanently cook on parchment paper to avoid consuming anything I shouldn't. However, it is very easy to find a replacement basket and grill.
It is relatively easy to clean, especially if you let the basket soak for a while.
It was a good purchase for the price I bought it (€110).

Oven-baked fries (and sweet potatoes!) are very quick but also delicious. We also roast peppers and finely chopped carrots, which turn out great. I want to try other vegetables as well as liver or steak, which we haven't cooked yet. I also made a roast, but I didn't like it at all. It doesn't replace the oven for cooking, but it does a great job quickly and economically for grilling. We are a party of 2 and the 6 liters are more than enough, but I don't think it could serve the food for a family of four.

These devices are essentially not fryers but convection ovens. That is, ovens that cook with very high-speed air in a small chamber. The result is shorter cooking times, energy savings, and a crispier result. I have used it as a small oven to bake croissants, cheese pies, mini pizzas, and similar items. Frozen foods, frozen without defrosting, at 160 degrees for 15 minutes, give perfect results. French fries, pre-fried or not, sausages, whether we are talking about Frankfurt sausages or classic Greek sausages, are cooked exceptionally well at different temperatures. In general, cooking time is reduced by 20-25 out of 100, and temperatures should be 20 to 30 degrees lower than in conventional ovens with air. I also tried the device for fruit dehydration. Although I am a beginner in such preparations, I tried to dehydrate bananas and lemon slices, and the results were very good. Size of the drum, good cooking, easy to clean. Price-to-size ratio. I don't think it's worth going for a smaller size.NEGATIVE:
1. Build quality. Apart from the drum, which is not detachable, everything else is made of plastic that scratches easily. The handle feels like it will break at some point. When washing it by hand and filling it with water, be careful not to lift it by the handle. I don't think it will withstand the weight.
2. Smoke during the first use. As the instructions say, you need to wash it well with soap and put it in operation for 20 minutes to burn off the non-stick coating, which releases smoke and a plastic smell when burned for the first time. I did this process at least 6 times (washing and operating for 20 minutes) to get rid of the smell. I recommend putting it in operation for the first time outside the house.
3. I tried making potatoes 3 times to achieve the right cooking and cutting technique to prevent them from burning or remaining uncooked. The best cutting technique is the classic one, long and thick potato, to allow air to circulate easily between them. They need constant stirring to prevent the ones on top from burning and to cook the ones on the bottom.Overall, it delivers what it promises but requires experimentation to find the right times and technique. The size is worth it in relation to the price.
If someone wants to get something better in this size, with a few extra bucks, I would recommend the AEG AF6-1-6ST, which is all made of stainless steel and has a detachable drum

The truth is that at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, since it wasn't completely thawed, it only took another 5 minutes to cook nicely while retaining its juiciness fully.
Positives: 1. Very good capacity (fits a whole chicken with potatoes)
2. Easy to clean (very important!)
3. The plastic defrosted very quickly
4. Crispiness and juiciness from the first use. Half a tablespoon of olive oil and seasoning beforehand.

All of the above still holds true, it now works flawlessly 20 times a month for 20 to 30 minutes, it's easy to clean, but I would recommend finding those mats for the air fryer because if you don't clean it immediately, cleaning the grill becomes difficult as it collects grease, etc.Now, the indicative timers it has as presets are generally helpful, I tend to add an extra 5 minutes to all the foods compared to the recommended time - For example, in the chicken option, it has a default time of 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius, I do it for 25.
Overall, I believe I couldn't have made a better choice for my needs.

I can't understand why many people had issues with the grill material from the first use. Maybe the users didn't use it properly?
Personally, I haven't had any problems so far. Of course, time will tell.
Indeed, it smelled like plastic at first, which is normal, but later on, it doesn't smell like anything.
The secret to making juicy meats is to put oil spray on the grill and a little oil, so it retains all the juices and becomes juicy and not tough.
The chicken cooked perfectly, as well as the chops, meatballs, etc.
Also, the potatoes come out better than fried ones, by adding the spices you want from the beginning, it absorbs the flavor and they are crispy, in other words, delicious. Plus, they are healthier than in a frying pan.
Now, as for cleaning the fryer, I haven't put the utensils in the dishwasher. It wasn't necessary. As soon as I finish cooking, I rinse the utensils under water and after a while, I wash them with Fairy and lemon-scented degreaser, using the soft side of the sponge, and this way, the fryer utensils always remain spotlessly clean.
It's good not to use various objects on the utensils and if you follow the cleaning method I use, you will see that the grill, which is the most sensitive part of the device, will not be damaged.I hope I helped those who own it and for those who are thinking of buying it.

As for cooking, I am very satisfied. Large fish in 12 minutes, frozen burgers in 30 minutes. I make briam (a Greek dish) directly in the pot, but it takes a little time.

The ones on top get burnt, while the ones at the bottom remain raw. Its programs are a joke. You have to take the initiative to select the temperature and time.
