Strong, it is normal that the center burns more than the edges... the only issue I have is that it seems to have curved a bit and the fats do not fall into the fat collector hole but gather at the edges. You need to gather a lot for them to fall into the hole. Does anyone else have this issue?
Also, it is good to clean it during grilling very fatty meats/burgers because burnt fats will stick on top.
Burgers are so-so... I think for meat it is better to use a grill with a grid, otherwise it is good to be lean. However, it excels in grilling vegetables, perfect mushrooms, eggs as you like them, pancakes, bacon, it grills them quickly and very nicely.
Also, cleaning is immediate... as soon as you finish, just wipe it once or twice with a paper towel and everything is gone. That's it. Happy grilling!

  I had another one with resistances and water, where I had no idea and avoided using it.
  This one does everything magically: It is ready in a few seconds, it grills faster than charcoal, it even grills frozen burgers straight from the freezer, as long as you don't put it on maximum! Generally, I grill at 3-3.5, where it grills evenly no matter how thick the meat is, without burning it on the outside!
  It cleans with a kitchen paper, at the end and maybe slightly damp. If it can't sit flat, I simply tilt it towards the collection container and everything is fine with the oils.
  Smoke: A little smoke is tolerable and disappears quickly in the end. If it's placed under an extractor hood, no one realizes you're grilling! With a pan, for example, it would be a mess. You have to ventilate the whole day to clean the house.

  I decided to go to a grill with a plate and not with water and external resistances.
  Positives: Quite powerful resistors and relatively easy to clean.
  Negatives: During grilling, all the fats remain on the plate, which results in sticking to the meat and blackening it.
  The meat is raw on the inside and blackens on the outside from the burnt parts.

  I have had it for a few months without using it much. For its price, it's fine. Burgers and steaks, if they're not from a dinosaur, it will cook them relatively well. Just don't overload it. I haven't dealt with fish.

  On the negative side, I must have used it about 30 times. The plate has become convex and the center has lifted compared to the edges. Also, with each use, cleaning becomes more difficult. The plate seems more willing to catch "grime". Of course, it cleans well with a lot of scrubbing, but on the other hand, it requires more and more scrubbing, which may eventually damage the coating. I would say it's a good choice for someone who grills occasionally like me, just for myself. If you plan on grilling 2 or 3 times a week for the family, I'm afraid it will give you trouble. Still, for €35, it's a low-risk investment.

  I have had this grill since 12/21/19, as it is also the first electric grill I have purchased. I am completely satisfied with both its construction quality and the quality of the grilling it does. Now, as for the grilling time, I grilled 25 burgers, 10 pork chops, and 6 pitas in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I have also grilled chicken breast fillets, kebabs, and portobello mushrooms equally perfectly. As for the fish (yes! I was expecting to grill them too, to write the comments and have a complete opinion), recently I grilled four large breams and although I was afraid of the result, they ended up grilling perfectly! In terms of advantages, I also add the fact that it is easy to clean, which takes a maximum of five minutes: while it is still hot... you remove the fats with paper and then wipe the grill plate with a damp paper and that's it!

  Now someone will say, but is it really that perfect? Does it have any disadvantages? It does! but I do not consider it such an important "downside" considering everything it offers and at such a price! It has been mentioned in the past by another user: when a lot of fats accumulate from grilling, they do not end up in the container hole, resulting in them accumulating on the edges of the grill. So, it would be good to wipe off the excess fats with a paper after each grilling session. Also, the cord is relatively short, but the problem can be solved with an extension cord. Overall, the purchase is more than worth it, it is perfect for a family of four.

  UPDATE 12/3/21:
  I returned 2 years later to emphasize that everything I wrote about this specific grill still holds true. It grills exactly the same as it did on the first day I bought it!

  I had the Primo YD304-1 with a grill that broke about 1 and a half months ago (thankfully it lasted two plus years) and I bought this one here 26 days ago.
  -The thermostat is in the best position it should be, while the Primo YD304-1 had it in the middle connected to the resistor, which caused the metal plate and the teeth (position of the thermostat) to get scratched and constantly needed straightening with a pair of pliers to align.
  -The Tristar BP-2965 heats up quickly, cooks perfectly whatever you put on it within 20 minutes, the plate is 100% non-stick and the meat slides on it, making cleaning a breeze. I simply remove the thermostat, then tilt it in the sink (from the other side to avoid any issues when I put the thermostat back in), I take a wet sponge and clean the plate first, then with a little detergent on the sponge, I clean the plate and finally pour water gently with a glass from top to bottom, let it dry and it doesn't present any problems, nor does the thermostat socket get wet, nothing.
  NOTE 1: I do the same with sandwich makers that don't have removable plates. I have it tilted sideways with an open socket far away to avoid any issues later and I follow the same cleaning process.
  It's simple and I've been doing the same process for years.
  NOTE 2: However, on New Year's Eve, it broke with all the knives it grilled!
  NOTE 3: Although it's early, this might be the best purchase I've made for grills.

  After the hassle of the grill with a grate (I had a Rohnson one whose thermostat was destroyed after a few months, which burned the meat), I bought this grill. I have had it for a few days and have already used it 4-5 times. The time period may be short, but I can observe the following:
  1. Its thermostat is relatively far from the cooking surface and I believe it will not be destroyed.
  2. It grills very quickly and very well, and the meat slides on its surface. Truly non-stick. Today I grilled 4 pork chops, two burgers, and 4 kebabs in 20 minutes and they were all amazing. Its surface is relatively large and grills evenly.
  3. Cleaning (in other grills with a grate, it was a hassle) is really easy with this one. After use, you clean it initially with a dry cloth (I use a sponge for dishes) and then with a slightly damp one (I use the same sponge dampened). Within 5 minutes, you are done with cleaning.
  At the price of 40 euros that I bought it, I think I made an excellent purchase. I hope I won't be disappointed in the future... If that happens, I will come back.
