Antex C15 Soldering Iron Electric 15WCode: 2979547

Soldering Iron electric of the company Antex with power 15 Watt and maximum operating temperature 410 °C. It is ideal for welding cables, small metal elements, and electrical components, as its fine tip helps in detailed and microscopic welding tasks. Additionally, it can be used for DIY and other special constructions, but not so much for professional tasks such as PCB soldering, as it lacks more specific features like adjustable temperature.

I used it to install new switches on a keyboard. Purely amateur use and recent purchase, so I cannot comment on its durability over time. What I can say is that for soldering, i.e. melting the solder when placing the switch, it worked amazingly. It heats up quickly and melts the solder easily, both with the standard tip and with two aftermarket ones from Antex. For desoldering old switches that I tried, i.e. melting the existing solder, it is not powerful enough. But the tool is not responsible for this, I just needed something stronger. As I said, I cannot have an opinion on its build quality. However, when you hold it in your hands, it does not give the feeling of a cheap tool.
