The speakers Opticon 2 MKII from the company Dali Characterized as bookshelf speakers because they are placed on a shelf or special base, which is sold separately. In this category usually belong the main speakers of a sound system, but due to their small size they can also be used as peripherals for better sound simulation. The power and impedance of them are 150W RMS and 4Ω respectively, which means they can be connected to an amplifier with the corresponding characteristics. This is a speaker 2 way, meaning the sound frequencies are reproduced by two speakers, one tweeter for the high frequencies and one woofer for the low frequencies.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Nice, high-quality, superb sound, it participates in the music and makes listening...enjoyable! It has improved acoustically compared to the previous "basic" version (let's call it mk1), and I say "acoustically" because on paper, one could say it is slightly inferior...but...it also significantly increases in price, especially in Greece, for an unexplained reason! So, with the appropriate price (e.g. around €900, at most for me), which is quite reasonable, considering that the previous version, which has not been discontinued because it is not particularly old, was/is around €800, it would be in the first place, but now...I don't know, close to €1400, I don't know what chances it has :(
