In the span of just a few days, three alarming deaths occur in different parts of Europe. A plastic surgeon who was supervising a secret European program is found dead at his home in Belgium - it is unclear whether it is a murder or a suicide. An Albanian arms dealer is murdered in a bar in Stockholm. 

Shortly thereafter, the body of a Czech MEP is discovered on a prison island near Tuscany; he has been stabbed to death. Although there is no apparent connection between these three deaths, Paul Hjelm and his colleagues at Opcop suspect that the three incidents are related.
