I don't know how it was in the beginning because I started playing it recently... but now I really enjoy it as an old Battlefield player!!

Years of being a player in Battlefield games, and I have to say... Money thrown away, empty maps, and nothing else.

If Battlefield 1942 is considered the best by many, then 2042 is the worst of the series. Enormous maps where you die instantly, complete lack of single player mode, and numerous bugs. Stay away.

I have been playing this type of game for many years. This one is a waste of money. Huge maps, empty, if you are on foot you just run, run, run and at some point someone appears out of nowhere and kills you or you are spotted from kilometers away by a sniper or helicopter or tank (the maps are really empty), which kills you. After respawning, you run, run, run and it's the same thing again. The vehicles are overpowered for anyone who knows how to use them. The only way to survive is camping or guarding a specific point. If you decide to go on foot from one point to another, I wrote what happens to you. When the match starts and you are on foot because you didn't manage to get a vehicle, you go to capture a flag and you see all the flags being captured by allies with vehicles, while you run, run, run... Truly awful...

Wasted money in many aspects! Only the graphics and sound are decent! Forget everything you knew about Bf, there is no trace of the previous games in this one, it's just a chaotic ground war where you die without knowing how, and everyone plays for themselves as if it's cod.

First of all, I would like to inform potential buyers that the game only has online modes and no single player campaign, so you can familiarize yourself with the game somehow.
Although I'm the type of person who plays COD, I'm not opposed to alternative suggestions, as previous BF games had a unique and different gameplay style from the rest.
This particular game is a disaster.
You enter the map and planes, tanks, and hovercrafts come and run you over, making it difficult to collect anything without getting killed.
The maps are too vast, there are many bugs, and the gameplay is bad according to my standards.
If it was free, maybe I would give it some time.
However, I wouldn't pay even 20€ for it

Very bad game, not worth its money at all, regretted buying it... I've been playing Battlefield since Bad Company and I can say that it's the worst Battlefield ever released, even Hardline was better, imagine that.... You just can't play like a human, helicopters everywhere shooting at you, tanks everywhere, in general, all the modes are like a ground war and you can't enjoy the game if you've been playing team deathmatch for years.... The servers are a mess too, and there are so many bugs in the game.... If someone wants a game with good shooting, they should go for Sandstorm or Call of Duty Vanguard, unfortunately Battlefield FAILED!!!

Well....the game has bugs....which will be fixed with updates....At first, I kept losing and couldn't play....gradually you learn it...and play comfortably. DO NOT EXPECT IT TO BE LIKE THE OLD BFs....it's completely different....many things have been removed....and others have been added. 2nd: I would have preferred if they had made a Battlefield like the old ones with graphics and gameplay of the PS5.

The game is one of the best shooters on next-gen consoles. Many patches have been released since its release and it has improved dramatically in all areas. It's worth it with the 1000, especially now that it's free with PS Plus.

It needs work, it has quite a few problems. In about 2 to 3 months, I believe it will be fixed and it will be just what I need for 40 euros.
