  For the criticism that this game has received, I can say that it is fantastic for its genre. It has the addictive gameplay of the first one and a lot of content. If you didn't like the first one, you won't like this one either (or the Dead Island games). Personally, I have enjoyed them. The quests were very interesting, especially when compared to other games of the genre. It's not The Last of Us, but at least it's fun. If you're looking for pretentiousness made by Sony, look elsewhere.

  After many updates, the game is in a very good condition (ps5) with upgraded graphics, better code, and overall much better gameplay. It is not the same as the first game since they have not put as much emphasis on combat anymore, but more towards parkour. Overall, the developers listen to the players and continue to release updates one after another. At 30€, it is a very good price for me

  The most important thing of all is that I also got fooled because dyinglight 2 does not support cross platform. If you get the ps5 version, you can't play with someone from the ps4 version. The only way is for both of you to have the ps4 version.

  Guys, I'm really disappointed...
  As a owner of the first game (I had finished it), all I have to say about the second one is that it's not even worth 30€...
  The game is full of bugs and glitches from the first mission.
  Its graphics are either the same or worse than the first one.
  Things in the environment look like they were just thrown in at the last moment.
  The whole game feels like a rushed job.
  I have played it on both ps5 and ps4.
  And on both consoles, it is equally disappointing and bad.
  The multiplayer is so-so.
  To join each other, you have to first all enter the game and then send an invite.

  It really doesn't deserve its money at all, and honestly, especially for those who have played the first one, they should stay there because this one will ruin their entire experience

  I am a big fan of Dying Light 1 along with The Following. I have played it for about 100 hours so far and I bought it in the digital edition. I suspect that people like the game because they can hit and jump like in a copy of Far Cry. But Dying Light has almost disappeared. So yes, the game runs poorly and has a story that is already pretty awful, I think. The game's universe is not explained well (I have done the secondary missions and still don't understand why firearms disappeared from this world in 15 years).

  The horror is completely gone. Remember when in DL 1 you were stuck in an apartment during the night, hearing the wind in the trees in the dark when suddenly a volatile walked in front of the weak flashlight? And there was that urgency to survive the night?

  Well, say goodbye to all that. Now you will be parachuting from observatory to observatory fighting pirates as if you were playing Far Cry 3. Now nights simply mean "stay on the rooftops, probably," and there is a mechanic in the game that literally no one asked for where you have to stand under a light every 5 minutes or you're dead, otherwise you eat mushrooms every 30 seconds.

  There is no more walking. You just run, all the time. Want to search an apartment for resources? No. With every step, the character runs.

  The zombies are worse. Most of the fun from the physics has been replaced by terrible static animations. Also, for some reason, most of the combat now relies on drop kicks? They removed the weapons, but you will have bows and crossbows just to make sure that this decision to remove the weapons is completely pointless. (The solution would have been to keep the weapons but make ammunition much rarer)

  Of course, there has been a downgrade in the physics, which means that you can no longer throw weapons at people's faces and when you kill enemies, their weapons disappear. The parkour now feels floaty as you will spend a lot of time in the air and the player model has strange interactions with objects, the parkour skills are weird, but don't worry, they found a way to make it even worse: Now there is an energy meter, when it reaches 0 you fall. So, not only are there no improvements, but the game has been downgraded and is worse overall than DL1. Also, forget about PVP, it's only co-op, which was more fun when you were the Night Hunter.

  In a few years, people will still remember DL1, but DL2 will be forgotten in a short time, even though it will have updates for a few years as the company announced. The story is awful, the graphics look more like the previous generation than the new one because after the development of DL1, the company started making DL2, but in the PS4/XBOX ONE generation, most of the development was done and it shows. Also, poorly optimized [until updates are released] on consoles, the modes they give you are almost laughable, like 1080p 60fps on a console that can handle 4k 60fps or 30fps, but real 4k. It only reaches 1800p in the resolution mode. It's a shame though for Techland that they didn't properly utilize the performance on consoles. Meanwhile, Doom Eternal on the PS5, to see how optimized it is, runs in 3 modes which are as follows:

  Ray Tracing Mode at 1800p/60 FPS

  Performance Mode at 1584p/120 FPS

  Balanced Mode at 4K/60 FPS

  The game is very good in terms of graphics and gameplay, but it lacks a bit in the story and there are only melee weapons, no firearms. I really wanted to play it, but I was hesitant because I wanted to see its performance and if it had any bugs/glitches or unstable framerates. In the end, it didn't have any of those issues after the Day 1 patch released by the company, but in such a large world, there are very small chances of finding anything. I borrowed it from a friend to see if I liked it [having played for 11 hours], because I was hesitant about whether to buy it or not, and I was disappointed with the modes it offers. There are three modes:

  Resolution Mode with a resolution of 3200x1800 at 30fps, almost 4K, and on Xbox Series X 3456x1944.

  Quality Mode at 1080p and 30fps with Ray Tracing.

  Performance Mode again at 1080p but at 60fps.

  Normally, consoles have the capability to easily reach 1440p at 60fps, but we might see that in future updates, which the developers will support for the next 7 years, just like they did with the first game. According to the company, the story duration is 20 hours to complete, while it will take 80 hours to play the story along with all the side quests. Finally, it will take 500 hours to complete all the quests in the game (main and side quests), all character choices, all endings, as well as to explore every point on the map, see all the dialogues, and of course, find all the collectibles. For me, I will buy the game when it goes on sale, and maybe they will increase the resolution from 1080p to 1440p in the performance mode. The other two modes are not worth it, in my opinion, as it is a first-person parkour game, and playing at 30fps in such a game is frustrating and doesn't "fit" this genre. It's like playing Call of Duty at 30fps, where this particular franchise is fast-paced. In conclusion, I would like to mention that the company announced that they will release upgrades for PS5/Xbox Series X, S for the first game, hoping for a decent resolution, as the first one was groundbreaking for me.
