The GH5 II offers unlimited video recording for less downtime during filming and the camera comes with pre-installed V-Log L for multi-camera recording, making it easy to match the color tone with videos recorded from other VariCam series cameras. The included DMW-BLK22 battery provides approximately 410 shots per charge when using the rear monitor or electronic viewfinder, and the high-capacity battery can be quickly charged with the built-in USB 3.1 Type-C cable. What can we say about this specific camera. I had the GH5 and I also got the GH5 ii. The great advantage of this camera is the ibis. The "skin" that the GH5 ii produces cannot be compared to any other company's camera. The autofocus is improved compared to the GH5. However, its biggest asset is its reliability in all weather conditions and temperatures from -10 to 40 degrees Celsius. Of course, there is no overheating problem, even if you put it in an oven. The build quality is the best I have ever held in my hands. Compared to the GH6, the GH52 is a no-brainer.

#With the GH5 I recorded over 5,000 hours of video in the 7 years I had it and 1 million clicks, in the rain it dripped from the water dozens of times but it never stopped working#

It was purchased in March 2023, upgrading my previous equipment (Canon 70d).
I have already covered 5 mysteries and I am completely satisfied.
The camera is used exclusively for video.
I had read enough before deciding to buy it and my only (positive) objection is that I recently covered a wedding reception with relatively low lighting. Recording 4k 50fps with iso6400 and I didn't have any grain at all.
A big plus is that I have the stock battery and I also bought an aftermarket one, which, combined with a PD power bank, gives me crazy autonomy.
I consider it value for money.
The next purchase will be a gimbal for this specific mirrorless

Very good machine with endless functions especially for video! I have been using Canon for professional video use for many years (80D, 6Diix2) but I switched to Panasonic for sensor stabilization, 4K, and cleaner 1080! (and dual card). I use it with a Viltrox EFMII adapter to use my EF lenses (I recommend the Metabones adapter instead). I highly recommend it for those who know what they're doing and have a powerful computer for video editing... Do not rely on autofocus with lenses beyond micro four thirds...
PROS: battery life, sensor stabilization, 4-2-2 10-bit video, focus peaking, AND VERY IMPORTANT it can charge while recording with a PD charger!
    CONS: maximum useful ISO 1600.
