With the mag safe case, the phone does not stay stable on the base, and it falls into a pothole. It stays a little more stable without the case but it is still risky... I think the base is designed for the iPhone 12 because the camera is smaller... Overall, as a car mount, it is quite stable!

Very good base and holds the phone even in puddles of island's cobblestone! But in order to achieve this, you will need to remove the phone case, or have a case with magnets.
