I will start with the positives: It is a very affordable multifunction printer that prints decently if there are no high demands.
From there on:
- Very difficult installation, especially for less experienced users.
- It struggles with feeding glossy paper over 160gr/m, resulting in high consumption and wastage of paper and ink.
- It disconnects from the wireless network after each print.
- In photo quality, black prints as a very dark brown. It is warm in color. This happens even if you choose monochrome printing (obviously it still takes from the CMY cartridge) or if you calibrate your black before printing by loading it with C and removing M and Y.
I bought it as a gift for my brother and it is really a good printer. It prints well both text and photos with very good results. Also, if someone wants to sign up for the instant ink service, HP offers extra FREE months of ink if you use the code 38jfsh when activating the Instant Ink service!!!! If you have any problems during activation, just call HP and everything will be taken care of as they are very polite and solve any problem that arises immediately. You can also pause the Instant Ink service at any time and start it again whenever you want for as long as you want!!!!
Classic printer. Prints fast and connects to the Internet without the need for an application. But it always asks for ink. If it's once in a while that you want to print something, changing €25 inks... better go to the bookstore.

Connected once via wifi on my phone by chance and on the computer it's all problems..also for some reason I have to connect to an account...honestly I regret buying it..very complicated procedures for no reason and incompatible with simple devices
The most useless thing I have ever bought. It printed normally the first month, then it lost its connection with the wifi and never printed again. I could never manage to connect it again, and they gave it to me for free. I will never take it again

For the money, it's decent so far. I've been using it for about a year and a bit, almost daily. I had a little issue with printing photos from the app on my phone, but after 3-4 times, everything was fine. The ink subscription is fine as long as you pay attention to your plan and monthly prints. I made a mistake once, but then I adjusted it to my needs, changing the plan month by month, and it has been working fine since then. Overall, I am very satisfied for the money!
This printer is only worth it if you are going to use it for printing PDFs and Word and Excel documents, as well as photocopies. Anything else will either greatly inconvenience you or not be executed correctly.
It is very slow and even bothersome when changing ink cartridges. Error indicators continue to flash without any apparent reason. To scan, you need to have a specific application on your mobile phone and go through the whole process via your phone, instead of simply scanning the document with a button like all other multifunction printers do. I tried to print a photo for about half an hour, changed the ink in case that was the issue, and in the end, it only printed 1/10 of the photo.
On the positive side, of course, is its price, as it is the cheapest option available, and the fact that you have a free ink subscription for six months. So, for simple use, just for printing documents and taking advantage of the free ink, it will pay off. If you need something more than that, it is better to choose a different multifunction printer.
Before this, I had the HP 4670 for over 5 years. It cost 20 euros more, but it was excellent in every aspect. I have not been satisfied with this one after just 1.5 months of use.
The worst purchase I have ever made in my life, wasted money.
They have replaced it so many times and every time it has the same problems. It loses network, chews up paper, prints crookedly.
To install it, you must have completed nuclear physics! For the money, it's good, slow but good!
First, I will tell you about the setup and then I will tell you the pros and cons of this machine.
The machine was purchased EXCLUSIVELY for home use. It was installed on a computer with an i5-7600k and 16GB DDR4@2400.
The main reason for purchasing it is for scanning, and since I ran out of a printer, I decided to get this all-in-one machine.
Negatives:
1) It gave me a lot of trouble during installation. Although it initially worked with the mobile application, I couldn't get it to work on the desktop no matter what. In the end, I had to buy a USB cable that is NOT INCLUDED in the package.
2) From the mobile application, you can only scan up to 300 dpi. For higher resolution, you need a computer.
3) The printing speed is a bit slow. Of course, let's not forget that it is a machine that costs 40 euros, so we might overlook this.
4) It is logical that as we increase the dpi in scanning, the scanning time also increases, but 2-3 minutes for ONE page at 1200 dpi is a bit too much. It takes 25-30 seconds for each page at 300 dpi. 300 dpi is satisfactory for text or simple photos, of course.
5) Lastly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the negative aspect is that I don't know if it is due to the application or the machine itself, but it is real and frustrating. It works fine for about 22-23 scans in a row. After that, it freezes and you have to close the application and reopen it. And again, from the beginning. But it does not give you the ability to import PDFs to continue your work, you have to create a new PDF and find a way to merge them (99% paid). And this is purely a software issue.
Now for the positives:
1) It is definitely value for money. It is worth every penny as long as you don't have high demands and it is intended for home use.
2) It has the print heads on the ink cartridges, so if they dry out, you simply replace the cartridges.
3) Satisfactory, although slow, scanning.
If I would buy it again?

For home use, I was satisfied, its speed is average like a regular home printer. If you lower the quality a bit in the settings, it prints faster without using too much ink, but I'm not particularly concerned about that. I'm interested in the fact that it does its job and I didn't expect anything better for the money I spent. I have used more expensive printers at work with the same build quality.
It comes with free ink for the first 6 months, but for someone who needs fast printing or many copies quite often, it's better to get one with liquid ink or a more professional product.

Not at all satisfied with this purchase. Very slow printing when the smart program was in use. Often had major issues with the scanner, which was also very slow, and often if you didn't save page by page the text you wanted to scan, it would suddenly disappear and the process had to start from the beginning. Very time-consuming process. The free ink they sent at first seemed like a good gesture, but then the printer itself would say to use genuine ink. Also, they ran out relatively quickly. Once the free trial period ended, it took quite a long process to uninstall and exit the program, but even until now the printer and scanner are not functioning properly. The scanner at all, despite following the instructions. In short, its economical price should not convince you to buy it.
I acknowledge the fact that generally the initial installation instructions were very helpful and easy, even for someone who has never dealt with it before.
For household use and for its price, it's great. With the instant ink program, the issue of expensive ink cartridges is solved. I've had it for a year and so far everything is good.
